I'm hoping to get top three in the rankings this week, so give me some power stones please. Enjoy the chapter!)

While waiting for my mother to return, I looked at the system. Should I use the humanoid loot box? After thinking for a while I decided to wait for the right moment. If I summon someone and they don't have stealth skills it would be hard to explain where they came from. I could get lucky, but I can't take that chance. I'll have to wait until I can leave the palace. Once I'm out I can say they saved me from bandits and offer them a job as my knight or something. That way someone doesn't just appear out of nowhere.

Now that doesn't mean I can't spend some of these system points. Scrolling through the shop I see something interesting. The shop has bloodlines from Naruto, but they're all locked. After looking through the system, I find powers and items from tons of anime, manga, books, movies, etc. they are all locked as well.

'System, why can't I buy these?' I ask.

{All unlocked portions of the system shop come from this world. In order to unlock locked portions you must summon someone or thing from the world they originate.}

(A/N: In order to buy things from Naruto you must summon someone from Naruto. Pretty simple.)

Since I can't buy anything interesting, should I save my points? I look through the system shop for anything interesting, and found a few things worth buying.

{Magic Affinity 500 SP - Unlocks the ability to use Magic.

Animal Loot Box 5000 SP}

This worlds power system is similar to Dalu Douluo mixed with Tales of Demons and Gods, minus the cultivation of course. When a child turns six they're taken to the adventurers guild and tested to see if they have magic or battle energy. Their talent is then tested to see if they can make use of the energy inside them. The people that test low in talent usually give up and become normal people. The rest usually become adventurers, or soldiers for their respective countries.

People that practice magic are known as mages, and people that practice battle energy are known as fighters. A mage practices magic based on their attribute. Attributes can be anything from the elements to things like space and time. The majority of people's attributes will be some sort of element. Attributes like space and time are extremely rare and haven't been seen in thousands of years.

Fighters are a bit more simple. A fighter uses battle energy to strengthen their body and weapons. If a mage and a fighter of the same rank were to fight the winner would be decided by the distance between them. If a fighter can get close enough he/she would win easily. Otherwise a mage would win every time. Of course a mage might have a rare attribute like space and teleport away. In this case the distance doesn't matter and the mage would win.

In extremely rare occasions someone with both magic and battle energy is born. It's said that the first king of the Fortis kingdom had dual affinity's. I would be hailed a genius for having dual affinity's, as long as my talent is good. Which is why I'm buying Magic Manipulation and Battle energy Manipulation. My guess is that if I reach 100% control I'll have the highest talent. I have a few months before my sixth birthday, so I'll spend that time practicing magic and battle energy.

I also decided to buy the Animal Loot Box because who doesn't want a cool familiar. Taming an animal is also easier to explain than a man or woman nobody has ever heard of appearing and serving me. I'll open it in the palace gardens while no one is watching and hope I don't get some gigantic monster. I'll save the 2,000 remaining system points for now.

{Would you like to buy the selected items/abilities?}

'Yes' I thought, and I can feel two separate energies flowing through my body. 'Status'

My fighter and mage rank were zero before, so I guess unlocking them raised the rank. I'm probably the first person to ever unlock magic and battle energy before their sixth birthday. I'm the youngest mage/battle novice ever. I wonder if I can use the system to be the first person to reach rank 100. That's right, I'm not the only one who can see my rank. The adventurers guild and the army give identification cards that show your rank. All you have to do is hold the card and your rank will appear below your other information. The ranking system looks like this.

Rank 1 - 9 - Mage/Fighter Novice

Rank 10 - 19 - Mage/Fighter Apprentice

Rank 20 - 29 : Mage/Fighter Adept

Rank 30 - 39 : Mage/Fighter Expert

Rank 40 - 49 : Mage/Fighter Master

Rank 50 - 59 : Mage/Fighter Grandmaster

Rank 60 - 69 : Mage/Fighter Lord

Rank 70 - 79 : Mage/Fighter Saint

Rank 80 - 89 : Mage/Fighter Legend

Rank 90 - 99 : Titled Mage/Fighter

No one in history has ever reached Rank 100. Similar to cultivation the higher your rank the longer your lifespan. My mother is an SS rank adventurer, so she's showed me her card before. She's a Rank 86 Mage Legend with the wind attribute. I wonder how I can learn what my attribute is? I guess I can try to just manipulate my magic onto my hand. Doing so I cover my hand in magical energy and my hand catches fire. Panicking I cut the flow of magic to my hand and the flame disappears. My hand looks normal with no burns, and I don't feel any pain.

{Fire Attribute LVL1 unlocked}

'Cool. System, show me the description of the Fire Attribute ability.'

{Fire Attribute LVL1: The ability to produce and control fire that's fueled by your magic. Can be leveled up with practice. Each level increases the power and control you have over the fire you produce.}

Am I immune to all Fire now or just my own? Thinking this I move to a candle in the room and hold my hand over it. Yup, that's hot. I pull my hand away before I burn myself. I guess I'm immune to my own flame, but not other flames. That's kind of lame. I could buy fire resistance from the system shop, but I don't want to spend anymore points. I don't know how hard it is to get points, and I've already given myself a good start. Maybe I'll unlock more fire abilities if I level it up. If not then I can always buy it later.

Now, I just need to practice magic and battle energy while no one is around. I don't think anyone will notice that I'm Rank 1, as long as I don't increase my rank any further. Which will be easy because in order to increase your rank you need to kill someone or thing, and a percentage of that person or things power will be given to you. (A/N: XP) The percentage is always the same no matter what rank you or the other person or thing is. Obviously the higher the rank the more power you get from them because they hold more power, and of course the higher your rank the harder it is to rank up. I don't think I'll be killing anyone or thing anytime soon, so I should be fine. As I'm contemplating my future plans my mother returns with what looks to be a doctor.
