Rylander knew about that as well and as much as he wanted to refute back to his master but what he said made sense at all.

Scarlette Overland might have a positive reputation but for Rylander's case, the man didn't know about the woman's true origin as her background is shrouded with mysteries.

'Might as well to take precautious against her if something arises…'

He didn't want to dwell that much as he changed the topic of their conversation as he speaks once more; "Young Master, I almost forgot. For the task that you assigned for me, not a single trace can be found but I have found some clue."

He diverts the topic back to its main subject since his master had called then, might as well Rylander report some of his findings.

With Rylander's serious tone as he change the subject, the mysterious master from the other side noted this change and he also became serious as well.

« ….. "Well then, any findings or clue for the mission that I gave you?" …. »

From the mysterious master's statement, Rylander thought about it once again.

He wasn't sure about this one and he didn't want his master to get his hopes up, so he shook off his head to clear his thoughts first.

'It would be better not to disclose this information yet, and I need to make sure if I was right or not.'

After some time as he thought about it, he took a deep breath and said; "The person you're looking for might be within this land, the Silveria Empire. I'm not quite sure for now but please let me investigate this first before I could give you my proper answer."

Rylander said and after he finished his report, he heard his master sigh through the communication earring that the two are using for conversation.

'He must feel exhausted right now. Well, I couldn't blame him though since my master has been looking for [that person] for years already and we haven't found a single clue or trace about [that person's] whereabouts.'

He thought and he also felt exhausted as well because of this mission and Rylander felt that his life span has been cut short because of this.

« ….. "Better do it quickly or else if someone had managed to know about this, things would get troublesome. I don't want to deal with those rotten old b*stards, especially [that a**hole]! Tsk!" …. »

Rylander snapped from his thoughts when he heard his master's statement and for that moment, Rylander shares the sentiment as well.

About his master's statement from above, Rylander knew that if someone managed to know about his secret mission from his master then, as for what his master stated earlier, things would get troublesome, if that happens.

Especially, by [that a**hole] his master pertaining to, Rylander's expression darkened at the mere thought of [that a**hole] who would dare to interfere with this matter if [that a**hole] happens to know about this.

'Tsk! Just by thinking about it makes me want to kill [that a**hole] on the spot and for sure that his master would be happy for that.'

"I know what I'm doing, Young Master. It's getting late and I need to cut off the communication for now and I'll give you an update if I found something new."

« …. "Okay, be careful out there. Don't expose yourself that much. There are plenty of nobles there and it would be troublesome if they manage to get through your disguise, also, avoid anyone from the Silveria Royal family as much as possible." …. »

After that, the communication between them had been cut off and the magic communication earrings became invisible once again as he took a deep breath and changed his clothes and went over to his bed to sleep.

For that moment, Ryan thought of something else.

About his undercover mission.

Yes, Ryan Wayne is just an alias that he took form for his undercover mission.

His master had given him the task of finding someone.

Someone precious and important to his master that he had believed that he lost.

And the first trace about finding that person lies within this land, Silveria Empire.

However, Ryan didn't tell his master about the second trace that he had accidentally found out as he didn't want his master to be heartbroken once again.

Even though Ryan would always argue with his master or being disrespectful to him at other times but still, Ryan cares for his master as he sees him as a friend and a brother.

As for Ryan's second trace for the person he is looking for….

It involved someone that Ryan didn't expect it.

And the person involved is none other than…. Scarlette Overland.

At first, Ryan didn't know how to react on this sudden matter, and he isn't sure if the man needed to include Scarlette Overland as his lead, but he wants to find out for himself.

When Scarlette Overland choose him as her traveling companion, Ryan had a chance to investigate and observe the woman, but he needs to be cautious not to be caught by her.

Scarlette Overland isn't an SSS-Rank adventurer for nothing, and Ryan wouldn't dare to underestimate this woman.

She wouldn't achieve this kind of status with just strength alone and according to Kira, her true skills and abilities are still unknown to everyone, and Kira stated that she only witnessed Scarlette's ability during the subjugation missions only.

Although Kira stated that she only witnessed Scarlette's ability but not her full strength alone and most of the adventurers who had known Scarlette for years knew that the crimson-haired woman is hiding her real strength.
