morning shopping and taking the bell test

(warning: the post-bell test dialogue isn't the best due to my shit getting overwritten by a bad connection)

Sasuke woke up early getting ready and eating breakfast he decided to go out to see if any shops were open and after walking for a while he saw one and opened it up as the doorbell rang. inside there was all manner of weapons they all looked well cared for but he noticed that they all had clan symbols on them and previous owner's names craved in a wooden slapped walled underneath.

"I never thought I'd see an Uchiha again but I guess I skimmed over the newspaper too much"

The dim-lit candles burned a bit more as a middle-aged man stepped out he had black hair and grey eyes and whore black robes with crescent moons all over.

"Who are you?"

"oh well I'm from some small clan that was gifted the ability of foresight but it takes a year from our lifespan when we use it so it was more of a curse than a blessing but never mind that Uchiha I know what you're here for and I have the perfect set for armor and a weapon just follow me back here"

Sasuke narrowed his eyes in suspicion but he decided to oblige the man. The man led him to a back room before he pulled a lever as the floor parted to a stairway that surprisingly wasn't dusty.

'is this guy a clean freak?'

The room had a wall of armor sets paired with weapons but one set that stood out to Sasuke was a dark purple cloth with chest and stomach plates with hidden pockets with a sword sheathed on the side decorated with the symbol of the Uchiha and markings that look like closed eyes. The man noticed and smirked.

"you have good eyes Uchiha the set looks like it doesn't belong but it was woven by one Uchiha who discovered a sage area and with great chakra control sewed it into existence and made the sword with black chakra metal but the work costed most of his life since he had to focus for days to creating it and also finding the metal but it was used by the first phew leaders of the clan"

"you seem very knowledgeable of my clan"

The man took out the set and put it in a case.

"well my people were more like historians than actual combatants so it's only natural also this'll cost 1m ryo I'm sure you have that much since your clan is rich"

Sasuke's eye twitched in annoyance not thinking he would need to spend that much but he paid up. He went back and hid the case in his father's office before going to training ground seven to see the 2 idiots waiting and hungry.

'oh I forgot about them well this'll be a learning experience for them'

when he stepped into the clearing Naruto gave him an annoyed look while Sakura's mood shot up. Sasuke went by the post and lied in the grass and waited until kakashi showed up. before he could say anything Sasuke quickly got up and threw three kunai his way he caught them but one of them had a lit explosive tag so he threw them away as it blew up.

Kakashi's sweat dropped.

"Sasuke you know that's kinda illegal what you just did right?"

"hn be on time next time I can't be expected to show respect to someone who can't do their job on time and besides if you were killed by that you'd be pathetic"

Kakashi just seemingly brushed it off and explained the test before starting Sakura jumped into the treeline while Sasuke just laid down on the grass and let Naruto get outclassed by the jounin after Naruto was caught hanging upside down by a rope trap Kakashi set his sights on Sasuke who got up stretched and pulled 2 kunai and rush at him Kakashi put away his book and started dodging. Sasuke realizing he can't hit him jumped back and went through hand signs shooting out a great fireball jutsu which Kakashi dodged 4 kunai were thrown his way which he also dodged but one of them transformed back into Sasuke which caught him off guard as Sasuke kicked him back.

'I probably shouldn't show off too much since this is a team exercise but I don't know how Sakura could be...wait I might not need her to be useful'

Sasuke jumped back in the treeline and saw Naruto going for the food so he blitzed behind him and dragged him back into the tree line.

"hey Sasuke, what's the big idea!?"

"the big idea is that I know the meaning of the test and we need to work together"

Naruto raised an eye at that

"why would I need to work with you huh!?"

"I mean if you want to fail and go back just say that"

"That's not what I'm saying"

"well let's just make it a one-time thing then you and I can do our own thing"

"fine but what about Sakura"

"hn don't worry about her she's already in on it"

"ok if you say so"

after 10 minutes Kakashi was about to make his move until 20 kunai came from the treeline which he had to sub to escape then 30 clones of Naruto rushed out and tried to clash with Kakashi who began to dismantle them one by one but them in the mitts of that 2 hands broke from the ground and grip his feet which allowed him to get punched once which revealed him to be a clone appearing behind Naruto who tried to swing on him but he caught his fist.

"looks like it's over Naruto"

Naruto smirked

"your right it is over"

Kakashi then felt a surge of chakra when he turned around it was too late as Sasuke channeling a lot of chakra to his feet blitzed and snatched the bells just as the timer went off.

"well looks like you 2 succeeded"

Sakura was tied to the post hungry while Naruto and Sasuke were eating until Naruto realized Sasuke's lie.

"hey Sasuke,e why did you say she was in the plan when she wasn't!?"

Sasuke's expression became cold.

"simple she's the weakest of us she doesn't have the drive to get stronger so I did it as a lesson that dead weight is useless and if she pointlessly stays at the same level she's not going to accomplish anything "

Sakura looked dejected

" But I'm not saying it's too late to turn around what I'm saying is to get your priorities straight because not everyone wants a damsel in distress so maybe if you improve yourself enough I'll agree to those delusional dates of yours but if you're going to ignore what I say you should just quit now"

after saying that he stayed quiet to let his words hang in the air before feeding Sakura the rest of his food with Naruto doing the same Kakashi appeared being dramatic before letting us pass and giving his speech. After the lecture, he left and Sasuke united Sakura before leaving with only a few things on his mind.

'Hopefully, she gets the hint I mean I was direct but just to be safe I'll sleep with my fingers crossed'
