Scarlet's POV

"No"

"No? What do you mean by no, you have to do it" he is stubborn and also stupid

Damn

"For the nth time Daniel No" I sighed massaging my head

"Why scar? Please, we have to try it maybe it will trigger something from his past perhaps it's the only way we can make him remember his past " he is wining like a child

"This is a bad idea, Recreating the moments we had? Seriously? Are you insane? What about his health huh? If something happens to him... No, I can't let that happen again" I begged him he looked at me puzzled

"What do you mean by again Scarlet?"

I covered my face with my palm rubbing it

Sighing I told him " After the accident when I got the news about his amnesia I went to meet him in the hospital and he didn't handle it well and he almost died that day in front of me " I whispered last part, crying in front of him

He wiped my tears, cupped my face and said softly

"Scar, it was because he was panicked, okay, that was new for him too and that wasn't your fault so don't sweat about it many things happened after that incident and he is alright now so, forget about that and  let's try this, please for his sake"

"What if...?" I mumbled

He cut me off  " if something goes wrong, I will handle it and we will stop that instant and I will never tell you to do anything okay "

I didn't say anything, Honestly, I was speechless

"Why are you doing this?" I whispered

"Because scarlet ou are my sister and I love you and can't see you like this. After you vanished everything was a mess. When Xavier recover from his injuries he was busy at work. Dad wasn't dad anymore, Mom was always quiet and she would cry at night begging God to make everything right Honestly, my family wasn't my family anymore, and it broke me.

After you came, I got my family back even if it was temporary everything was normal and now I intend to make it permanent and this will happen if Xavier gets his memory back" he was serious. I know Daniel he is always teasing and pranking and funny guy but when he is serious, he is dead serious

But, that's the thing he is never serious

I was stunned with his speech and looked at him shockingly

"Please can we at least try this," he asked begging

"Yeah" I nod my head, after hearing this he pulled me in a hug and hugged me tightly. I patted his back

" We can do this " he whispered looking at me. I didn't miss the tears in his eyes

"We can do this" I whispered back

"We will fucking do this, Yesss!!!!" He started shouting

We both laughed at his antics.

"By the way, we are meeting Xavier for lunch now come on" he announced. I look at him with wide eyes

"What? No! I can't come " I told him

"Shut up, you are coming, I also told Xavier that you are coming and after that, we will discuss our plan," he said casually and pulled me with him

AT LUNCH

"Are you sure about all this?" I asked him frowning

"Yes! Women I am sure and FYI, I also talked to mom and Dad and they also have agreed to do this " he said

I looked at him shockingly

"What? When did you do that?" I asked him

" before meeting you of course," he said in a duh tone and continued before I could say

" now sky don't think too much about it okay and just trust me " I nod my head

"How's Olivia?" I asked him suddenly. He looks at me sadly. I rest my hands above his hands

"What happen dan?" I asked him softly. He cleared his throat

" I messed up After Xavier's accident everything was a disaster you know, I push her out and she tried many things to bring me back to normal but in the process, without thinking  I said many hurtful things to her and we broke up. I regret everything I said to her that night"

I feel bad for them

" don't worry dan, I am sure she is going to forgive you"

" no scarlet, you don't know you didn't saw her face when I said those awful things to her. I hate myself for that " he roamed his hands in his hair

"Don't worry we are going to get her back to you. " he nods his head

"So, we both are a mess,huhhh" I said jokingly

"That's why we should be together, forget him lets run away and be my wife," he joked and held my hands

A throat was cleared, we looked up it was none other than Xavier

Xavier's POV

I reached the restaurant. I don't know why I feel so excited about meeting Scarlet, for Pete's sake I am Xavier Martin. Why the hell am I feeling like this?

"Welcome Sir, how may I help you?" A young girl greets me shyly

" I have a reservation under Martin," I told her coldly

" Yes, of course, this way sir" I nod curtly

The waitress lead me my way to the table

I saw Daniel and Scarlet holding hands.

A burning sensation was built under me. I looked at them frowning

But why is it bothering me

They were in some deep conversation so, I thought to make my presence known by clearing my throat

They both looked up at me and regained their composure

" Wassup brother, come sit Scarlet and I was about to order " Daniel was in an awful happy mood but, then again when he is not happy

On the other hand, Scarlet seems quiet

She was dressed in a simple orange blouse with black skinny jeans and white beanie

She look adorably beautiful

Shut up Xavier 

I decided to start the conversation "Hello, Scarlet how are you?" I asked

Really? How are you? Way to go, Xavier, Martin

" I am good thank you, how are you?" She questioned

Ohh how I love to hear her voice

What??????? Where is this all coming from idiot

I shook my head and was about to say but the waitress came to take our order for which I was thankful. We gave her our order

"So what's the purpose of this lunch," I asked straight forward

" Um, Dad is throwing a party this weekend and you just have to show up there," he said cheekily

"And...?"

"And nothing he just invited some of our friends and relatives" he continued

"Why? I mean just  last weekend we had dinner right?" I asked him but he just shrugged

"Dude I knew you would forget! It's Mom's birthday, you dumbass" Shit how can I forget that

Don't get me wrong I do love my mother very much I just forgot her birthday

My thoughts were interrupted by Scarlet's giggling

Wow she look beautiful

Shut the fuck up Xavier

" You will never change, I knew you would forget, you always do " she said Smiling but, suddenly she widened her eyes

Huh

How does she know that?

"Shit!!!"
