-Forbidden Forest-
I was sitting against a tree in the clearing of the Forbidden Forest, petting the little unicorn foal I had met my first year.
I was reviewing some notes about the Triwizard tournament that would take place next school year. These notes had information about things I knew would happen, like what the three tasks would be and about the ball, as well as Voldemort's resurrection.
But in addition to those notes, there was also some information I got from the Triwizard tournament rulebook, which even though it didn't seem like something important, could still help me, as I planned to enter the tournament.
But as I read these notes, the little foal that had its head in my lap snorted in satisfaction, making me look up at him.
"Hmm... Now that I think about it, I've always called you wee or boy, right?" I asked.
I then put a finger to my chin in reflection, with the little foal who wasn't so little anymore looking at me confused, "You know, I think I should name you" I continued.
"But what should I call you?" I asked myself, looking at the little foal, trying to think of a name that would suit him.
Neighing at me the little foal got up, and started trotting around me happily, and I smiled at that.
"I think I already know the perfect name for you" I said, smiling, "From now on I'll call you Agnos, from the Greek, which means 'He who is pure'."
And just as I said that, the little foal stopped walking and stood in front of me, cocking its head to the side as if it was thinking about something.
He then whinnied and snorted as he trotted along happily, and from his emotions I could tell he was happy.
"You seem to like the name," I said to Agnos, who walked over to me and placed his head in my hand, careful not to hurt me with his horn.
"Hmm, you know, I know some people who would love to play with you," I said to him, thinking of my sister Cele and Lily, and also wondering if Astoria liked magical creatures.
"Neigh" was Agnos' reply, who looked confused but excited, making me wonder if he understood what I said.
'Maybe I'll bring the girls here in the forbidden forest to see you, and what about Cele... Well, I think I can find a way to get you to her without the others noticing' I thought, already rubbing my chin as I made plans in my mind involving the Vanishing Cabinet, some fireworks and a hedgehog.

-Back to the Castle-
After relaxing a bit in the Forbidden Forest the lunch bell rang, and I went back to the castle.
Now I was walking towards the kitchens, wanting to spend some time with my elf friends when I saw Malfoy who was reading a book coming towards me.
From his feelings of contempt and malice, and realizing that he was coming straight for me, I could tell that he meant to bump into me, but I didn't try to dodge.
Malfoy and I kept walking until we bumped into each other and our shoulders bumped, with Malfoy jerking back from the impact, with me not even moving from my place.
After realizing that the one who ended up being pushed was him and not me Malfoy grimaced, and then looked at me with a disdainful look.
"Watch where you're going, you stupid raven…" and Malfoy's words died on his lips as soon as he looked into my face.
"Night?!" he squealed, and I realized that he hadn't seen that it was me, and that he had only seen that there was a Ravenclaw student in front of him.
"Malfoy, how long!" I said with a big smile, which disappeared as soon as I saw him hastily reaching into the pocket of his robes for his wand.
Reacting faster than he could realize, I pulled out my wand and cast a hex at Malfoy, pinning him to the wall 50 centimeters above the floor.
"Tsk, tsk... I thought you learned that it wasn't wise to mess with me our first year Malfoy" I told him shaking my head in disappointment but Malfoy just looked at me with an angry face.
"Oh Malfoy, don't look at me like that, you know you deserved it" I said, and if possible Malfoy's face got even redder as he shook.
'Wow, he looks like he's about to explode with rage' I thought, but then I noticed that his shake looked different from an angry shake, and confused I felt his feelings, only to be surprised.
"Wait…" I said, realizing that the main emotion coming from Malfoy wasn't anger or hate, "Are… are you scared of me?" I asked confused.
And in response to that question Malfoy looked away, trying not to look me in the eye, and that confirmed what I already knew, which was that Malfoy was scared of me.
And knowing that I started to wonder why he was afraid of me.
Being pinned to the wall probably isn't comfortable or cool, but that shouldn't be enough to make him scared of me, so he must be scared of me for some other reason.
And thinking about it, I remembered that the last time I interacted directly with Malfoy was in first year just before Christmas.
I knew I scared Malfoy the day he made fun of Hagrid and I threatened and humiliated him in front of several students, but I thought he would be over it by now.
In fact, I've always wondered why Malfoy didn't try to pick on me like he does Harry and Ron, mainly because he should be more mad at me than he is at them.
But now realizing his emotions I began to understand that in fact he never came to provoke me, not because he liked to torment the golden trio more, but because he is afraid of me.
'But he's scared, like, really scared' I thought, grimacing.
'What I did that day could have been really bad, and I really didn't control my emotions, but that doesn't justify all this fear'
Then, glancing back at Malfoy, who was looking back at me, I sighed, waving my wand and releasing him from the spell.
Malfoy then fell to the ground, but didn't try to move and continued to glare at me warily.
"You can go," I said, glancing at him lightly.
And listening to me, he got up slowly while leaning against the wall, and realizing that I really wasn't going to attack him again Malfoy turned and fled, running until he disappeared around the corner of the corridor.
"Damn it" I muttered as soon as Malfoy left, feeling guilty.
That day I just wanted to teach Malfoy and his henchmen a little lesson. I didn't want him to fear me.
When I used my Beats Talk and my magic to scare Peeves I did it with the intention that this obnoxious Poltergeist would never want to mess with me again, and I really didn't care if he feared or hated me, as long as he stayed away from me.
But I didn't want to do the same to Malfoy. I just wanted to show him that there was someone he shouldn't tease.
And it made me realize that all this happened only because I lost some control of my emotions and strength that day, and I frowned at that.
'I spent so much time learning occlumency and training my empathy, only to realize that I still can't control my emotions.' I thought, resisting the urge to curse.
Sighing, I looked down at my hands.
'Not having control over my emotions is becoming a bigger problem than I expected'

-Ministry of Magic-
[POV – Penny]
"So dear, did you find anything interesting?" I asked my husband Nick, who was staring at Fudge's office door while scratching his goatee.
"Hmm, I heard something from a few people, and even though it's not very important information, it might still be of some help" He said, and I looked at him with an eyebrow raised in curiosity.
"And what information is that?" I asked.
"I've heard from some staff that Fudge can't do or choose anything without the help of his staunch supporter, Lucius Malfoy, and his undersecretary, Dolores Umbridge" Nick replied to me, and then he stopped to think for a while, humming in thought.
"And now that we know that, we also know who we should keep an eye on," he continued.
"Hmm, yes, I understand what you mean," I said, also adopting a thoughtful pose, "If we can keep them away from Fudge for a while when all the fuss starts, he won't be able to get their help and opinion and will be left wondering what to do."
"And when that day comes, if we go to him and put pressure on him, it's quite possible that he'll crack under the pressure and make some rash decisions." Nick added for me.
"And with that, we can take advantage of his moment of confusion to start the plan" and at this moment an excited smile already started to appear on my face.
"And with the obstacles out of the way, Amelia will be able to start with her part of the plan" Nick said, with a smile bigger than mine, but a little cruel, already relishing the thought of causing a mess in the Ministry.
I could understand why he was so excited, as we, and especially he, don't have a very good track record when it comes to the British ministry.
"Heh, and you said that wasn't very important information" I said with an amused smile.
"Well... I think I was wrong," he said with an innocent smile, which obviously didn't fool me.
"Uhum" I said unconvinced.
'Hmm, I just want to imagine Ethan's face when we talk about this with him' I thought amusedly, with an affectionate look on my face, already missing my dear grandson.
'And he'll probably like it even more when he hears about the mess we're about to make in the ministry' and with that I chuckled lightly to myself.
And Nick, who had been watching me laugh, just raised an eyebrow.
'Yes, the ministry won't know what hit them' he thought with an amused little snort.
End.
