"Baby, listen," he said as she approached him but he never got to continue as Aera landed a hard ear-ringing slap to his cheek.

His head whipped to the side with so much force that his neck hurt.

Aito understood how she must be feeling. No girl would be rational after such a thing so he was patient. He didn't want to upset her further.

"How could you?" she asked, staring at Aito, utterly shattered by the betrayal. He had broken her heart. "How could you do such a thing to me? If you were already bored of me, you could have just said so. Why put something like that on the Internet? Did you even think of the way it would ruin my life? What will my parents think when they see it? How will I be seen in the entire school? How will I face people when I go out? Why did you have to ruin my life like this?"
