Chapter 102

Mum noticed and stood up. She leaned over the table and touched the back of her hand to his forehead. Ryu flinched and shifted his seat back instantly. Mum and I were stunned.

His eyes widened when he realized what he just did. He stood up immediately then bowed to my mum. "Thank you for the food Mrs Yamamoto but I don't feel so good. I think it's the alcohol. I'll go home now to get some rest. Thank you for everything"

Then he bolted towards the door. I hurried after him. "Ryu! Ryu wait!"

He halted before the door, hand on the knob. "I'll be fine Aito" he said, keeping his back to me. "Don't worry about me. I'll call you later"

Before I could say a word, he opened the door and dashed out. I stood there, staring at his retreating figure.

What in the hell just happened?
