As the Christmas holiday finally came to an end, Sasuke Uchiha sat quietly after packing his things. Staring out the window, he reflected on everything he had done up to this point. There was no plan for self-reflection because Sasuke had already given up on distinguishing right from wrong.
Shaking off the bad feeling he was having, Sasuke left his room empty-handed, as usual. He picked up the luggage of Gemma and Kin and put it in his system space.
The three of them set off in the magical carriage to the train station. Watching Sasuke's downcast appearance, Gemma asked, "Sasuke, do you not want to go back to Hogwarts?"
"I'm just having a bad feeling," Sasuke replied in a low tone.
"Then you should start using predictions to find out what is going to happen. After all, you are learning prophecy," Gemma suggested.
Following Gemma's suggestion, Sasuke took out his tarot cards and pulled out the Hanged Man card. "I know this is the Hanged Man, which means sacrifice."
Looking at the card, he then checked his system points and acquired four necklaces that could prevent someone from being controlled: one for himself, one for Gemma, one for Kin, and the last one for Hermione.
As the carriage made its way to Hermione's house, he rang the doorbell. Mrs. Granger, opening the door, was surprised by the carriage. She asked, "Is this really okay?"
"Yep, I think it's good, plus it's faster than a car," Sasuke replied.
As Sasuke put all of Hermione Granger's luggage inside his system space, they both entered the carriage and said their goodbyes to Mrs. Granger.
Upon arriving at the train station, the bustling atmosphere of students and families greeted them. Sasuke remained vigilant, scanning the crowd for any signs of danger. His senses were on high alert, the uneasy feeling from earlier still lingering in his mind.
The trio of girls chatted about their holiday adventures as Sasuke silently observed their surroundings. They made their way to Platform 9¾, where the Hogwarts Express awaited.
As they boarded the train, Sasuke made sure everyone had their necklaces. He handed one to Gemma, Kin, and Hermione.
"Don't lose these," he instructed. "They'll keep you safe."
"What is this for?" Hermione asked while looking at her pendant.
"It's for mind control.I mean, it's a one-time item that helps you if you are being controlled," Sasuke explained.
Listening to Sasuke, everyone quickly wore their pendants.
The train whistled, signaling its imminent departure. Sasuke found an empty compartment for them to settle into. As they sat down, the train ride back to Hogwarts was filled with the excitement of other students. Gemma stood up and left the compartment for her duties as a prefect.
As the train continued its journey, when the time came for the stop, Sasuke took care of all the suitcases for the girls so they could be sent back to their rooms.
As students disembarked, gathering their belongings, Sasuke, Hermione, and Kin stepped off the train, blending into the crowd. The familiar sight of the castle brought a sense of comfort, but Sasuke knew better than to let his guard down.
As they made their way to the Great Hall for the welcoming feast, all the students were brimming with excitement from coming back from the holidays. However, this excitement was soon dampened by the professors increasing their study workload.
Contrary to the majority, there were a few students like Hermione who were happy with more study. She even started to help Harry and Ron multiple times so she could tell them about Nicolas Flamel.
As she started to help Harry and Ron, unknowingly, she began to get entangled and started to follow both of them. At this point, she even ignored the latest newspaper, which talked about Sasuke's outrageous demand from Clarissa Greengrass.
If Sasuke had any chance of getting a girlfriend, this article clearly removed any hopes as his reputation, not just in Hogwarts but even around the British magical world, was terrible.
Many wizards started complaining to the Ministry of Magic to arrest him and make him release the formula of the healing potion, claiming it would benefit everyone.
