The start

A few days passed after that night, and Emma couldn't stop thinking about it, as time went by, she slowly started to see Shu in a new light.

Everyday that went by she made sure to look at him, analyze his face and memorize it, as if it were an important task.

Every time she looked at him her heart would beat, she didn't know why, she had just technically met him, that was without of course counting the many meetings they had for they both were rulers of powerful continents.

She knew what these new feelings were, but she wasn't sure if she could accept that fact.

Maybe it was because 90% of the elves were women, and she's gotten used to a woman's body, but she couldn't help to stare at his chest whenever he was training with his son.

Of course Emma made sure to put all those feelings away, at least in front of Ayami, after all Shu was married and with kids to top it off.

At the moment all Shu and Ayami were doing was simply getting ready to have a walk around the kingdom.

Ayami was carefully brushing her daughter's hair as Dio would quickly throw a bunch of jabs at his father's palms.

Soon enough their peace was interrupted by a butler, who opened the door with urgency, holding what seemed to be a written letter on his left hand

" My king! This letter was just sent by the mermaid queen and— "

The man couldn't finish his sentence as Shu was now in possession of the letter, which of course was the reason for the sudden silence the butler oozed off.

" Leave "

Ayami ordered as she would then hand the brush to her daughter, who would start to slide it down her hair all by herself

" What does it say? "

Ayami questioned, whilst the butler quickly ran off, closing the door behind him as if he was in a hurry, but who could blame him, Shu's killing intent was always active.

" The mermaid queen is under attack "

Shu whispered as he would then hand the letter over to his wife

" Cancel everything we have this week and the upcoming weeks, a war is coming "

Shu said whilst grabbing his king's robe, placing it over his shoulders to then stare at his wide

" Alert my elites and let Ean know he's in charge of protecting our kingdom if it were to be attacked "

He said as a sudden burst of energy would blind everyone in the room; Shu had just engulfed his body in a bright aura

" You're going by yourself? "

Ayami questioned as she looked down at letter before putting it aside, taking a step forward whilst giving her husband a worried look

" What if it's a trap? "

She added only to receive a smile from him; right now he seemed beautiful to her.

The black and blue tie suit he was wearing looked great on him, plus the addition of his blue robe made his attire even more appealing, not to mention his white snow like hair which was tied in a messy bun.

" Even if it's a trap, I'm confident I can escape, plus I have no choice but to go by myself, like you said, if it's a trap it'd be dangerous to bring more people, also there needs to be people here just in case there's an attack "

Shu said, placing a kiss upon his wife's cheek before backing away, opening the window and flying off, causing a slight burst of air once he took off.

Now in the air he would close his eyes, trying to sense where the mermaid queen was, and once he had found her energy he immediately flew toward it, piercing through the skies like a meteor.

Anyone who he flew could only hear crackling, as if thunder had just stroke.

Shu would then fly through the sea, creating a giant hole which quickly got closed up by the water itself.

Now underneath the ocean he would raise his hands and slam them against the ground he had just reached, cracking it open, allowing himself the view of a giant beautiful city, that was being completely demolished by what seemed to be a giant gray man with horns.

" What the hell "

Shu thought to himself, before shaking his head a bit, remembering what he was here for.

Suddenly he would crash against a giant castle, sliding through its grounds whilst simultaneously looking around, looking for the mermaid queen, which he quickly found.

In a heart beat he would dash toward her, opening his arms, wrapping them around her and flying through the ceiling, leaving a hole in it, which was nothing compared to what the gray man with horns did.

Which was to jump toward the castle and ravish it completely, leaving nothing but the platform it was created upon.

This being was powerful, he could tell, but for some reason Shu couldn't sense it's energy, it was almost as if it wasn't even there, but before he could take action against it he would turn toward the mermaid queen, moving his hands and fingers around in an attempt to tell her to leave.

Of course she tried to deny that offer, after all she was queen, and her people were currently suffering, but Shu pleaded, and finally she listened, swimming up at a very high speed, leaving Shu alone with the demon looking thing.

" I wonder what that it is "

Shu thought to himself before receiving a punch to the stomach, being sent flying across the under sea city.

" How can a being have such brute strength.. "

Shu thought to himself whilst crashing against the ground, causing dirt, sand and water to violently move around the sea, all which was tainted from all the blood that left Shu's body.

The punch seemed to have injured him, and from his nose blood was dripping out

" It seems I'll have to take this fight seriously.. "
