"That was... quite an interesting communication you had there, little Samus," Nana Boom Boom said, unable to find better words for what had just happened, the girl in front of her being sometimes very strange even to her, a rather old and experienced fairy.
Not only did she have a devotion rare among humans, but the young girl seemed to have an uncanny ability to make things go her way. Even though she had told him about her lucky charm, it doesn't matter how good a charm is if there's nothing to act on, so it could be understood that Samus had innate luck.
Well, the fact that she was reincarnated is normal, not much luck there, all life, unless it is destroyed or goes to a resting place, reincarnates. No, Samus' luck manifested itself when she appeared before a creator god of a universe she previously believed to be fictional.
Her luck was proven when that god helped her. Sure, there are benevolent gods out there, and Samus was especially lucky to meet one. Imagine if she had met a 'ROB' looking for entertainment or something, that wouldn't be lucky, would it?
Nana Boom Boom still remembers that turbulent time in the Omniverse, so many illegal or inferior systems, lawless ROBs doing whatever they wanted, and universe-shattering fights, it was a turbulent time for the Omniverse.
At least things had calmed down, so much so that even an inexperienced young girl like Samus could travel freely through it, although a certain threat had arisen, its effects had been quickly dealt with and monitored, and peace, relatively, reigned.
The elderly fairy began to serve lunch, and everyone began to eat quietly. Samus and Ciri had to admit that Nana Boom Boom's food was the best they had ever eaten, probably no one could match her expertise in this area.
"This is too delicious!" said Ciri with tears in her eyes, she didn't want to eat anymore, she wanted to keep her plate to admire it from afar, but she couldn't help it.
"I HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO DO THIS!" cried Samus, this food had ruined her palate, and she would probably regard all food from mere mortals as raw flour or wax.
"You can come as long as you want to eat, I'm willing to cook for you," Nana Boom Boom replied with a friendly smile on her face.
"THANK YOU!" both women shouted as they finished eating, then, Samus wondered, what the hell were they eating?
"Hey Nana, what creature is this meat from?" asked Samus, who saved a large piece of meat for last.
"That's easy, dragon meat marinated in hydra blood," the woman's words made Samus and Ciri stop and look at her.
"Jeez, do you guys like to watch every time you are amazed or what?" joked Jorgen as he drank a glass of a golden drink with an excellent smell, different from any normal drink.
Ciri lowered her head in embarrassment, but as cheeky as Samus was, she just shoved a large piece of meat into her mouth and focused her gaze on Jorgen, chewing as hard as she could, as if that piece of meat was the supreme fairy.
Jorgen burst out laughing at this childish gesture, but it was just a sign that Samus still had some innocence in her, even if she was a bit crazy, she hadn't let her growing power and knowledge consume her.
"Hey Ciri, want some Ambrosia? You're older by human standards, aren't you?" asked Jorgen, though his attention was always on Samus, who looked curiously at the bottle in his hand.
"Ambrosia? Like the drink of myth?" asked Ciri curiously.
She knew a little about the human culture of the land, so Jorgen suddenly offered her a drink made by and for gods according to Greek myths interested her, especially since in the culture she grew up in it was normal to drink wine.
"Sure, I got it from a contact in another universe, a guy raided the wine vaults of the god Dionysus and got many copies, some of which he gave me," Jorgen poured the golden drink into a cup and then offered it to the gray-haired girl.
Samus tried to grab the cup, but Ciri simply teleported several meters away, and then swallowed the cup slowly, constantly dodging the blonde's attacks.
"Let me scan the divine drink!" shouted Samus, her curiosity piqued.
It wasn't every day that one found a product made with divine methods, and she wanted to spy on Ambrosia's possible secrets since she might find a way to make better potions.
"No, you can't have anything to do with alcohol on your hands, it's illegal~," Ciri said with a certain melodious tone, and then Jorgen fell for it.
"I forgot you're technically a mortal, sorry," the High Fairy noticed Ciri's inebriated state, and before she did anything drastic, he held up his large wand and tapped the handle on the ground.
The tapping made a bell-like sound, and the drunken blush on Ciri's cheeks began to fade. Then she noticed that everything didn't look so funny anymore, and she realized that she hadn't been in her right mind before.
"How strong is this stuff?" asked Samus, who also noticed the exaggerated effect of the drink.
"For a superior being, almost nothing, except for its special aroma and taste, for mortals? Well, if I hadn't acted, Ciri would have become addicted to this drink. But it has its advantages for mortals as well," Jorgen said, getting up and approaching Ciri, who seemed to have recovered by now.
"What happened, didn't she just dodge Samus? Why...? Why am I upside down?" asked Ciri, who had her hands on the ground and her feet up.
In her attempts to dodge Samus' hands, she ended up doing strange actions due to her drunkenness, and ended up in this strange situation; if more time had passed, she probably would have done much stranger things.
"Excuse me," Jorgen said before explaining the situation and the advantage Ciri had gained.
"Wait, he just got drunk on Ambrosia and now he's immune to common diseases and poisons? Why?" Samus was shaking with curiosity, she needed to scan this drink.
"It's a drink for the gods, by drinking it, a person would not only see their wounds healed, but their resistance to diseases and poisons improved, that's why it was thought to give 'eternal life', it just improved your health," Jorgen looked at Samus as if he didn't know about that.
"I know about the myth of the drink! I just didn't expect the myth to be real, you know? Who knows, if I get carried away with the myth, I might look something up and then realize that it's not like that," Samus explained from her thoughts, although well, she was barely exposed to the omniverse, really a sign of her inexperience.
Jorgen noticed this, then a smile appeared on his face. His fighting spirit, or at least part of it, burst out of his body in bursts and hit Samus, who noticed and smiled as well.
"Old man, I don't know what stupid ideas you have in your head, but you owe me a fight," Samus replied in kind, releasing her battle intent.
Ciri, who had stood up properly, realized that she was trapped in a strange vortex, so she teleported to Nana Boom Boom's side.
"Nana, how are you dealing with Jorgen?" asked Ciri, noticing the usual expression on the older fairy's face.
"With understanding and food, lots of food. If you eat enough, you won't think of doing foolish things," Nana said crisply, enlightening Ciri's mind.
"Please teach me how to cook," Ciri kneeled in respect.
Even though she liked to fight or go on adventures, she couldn't compare to Samus, who was a fighting maniac and reckless. So she wanted to learn the necessary techniques to deal with the blonde, because although dialogue was useful, sometimes she had to take drastic measures.
For example, with the Ambrosia situation, if it had been Samus who drank it, there might have been a lot of wreckage in the house.
Nana quickly helped Ciri to her feet, even though she was a mortal now, the young girl would be a great being in the future, so there was no need for her to make such a serious gesture.
"Don't worry, girl, I'll help you take care of your fool," Nana joked, taking Ciri by the hand to lead her to the kitchen where she would teach her the secrets of life.
On the other hand, Jorgen and Samus went out into the courtyard, and although the courtyard was wide enough for a training fight, the fight they wanted to have was a bit more difficult than just practice.
Samus knew that she was inexperienced, even if she knew the fighting techniques, and Jorgen seemed to have found someone to train, which was why he went so far as to give her his notes on the ritual.
What was about to happen now, at least from Jorgen's side, was that he wanted to test Samus' limits to see how he could guide her, because he felt the desire to train the blonde.
To prepare a suitable arena, Jorgen held up his wand and made the golden star on it glow. Then Samus could feel the room itself changing, expanding.
The entire courtyard became truly enormous, even disappearing into the distant horizon. With another glow from the wand, the space itself became much more rigid and dense. With a final glow, the entire floor was reinforced; it wouldn't prevent outside manipulation, but it would be much more difficult to destroy.
"Now that we have our space to fight in, I want us to do the following," Jorgen began to speak, his usual friendliness seemed to disappear, leaving only the rough and tough Jorgen Von Strangle.
"I will give you exactly one minute, during which time you can attack me in every possible way. Don't hold back, don't limit yourself, do everything you can to harm me, seek my death, seek to eliminate me," his words were unusually cold and hard, his eyes keeping eye contact with Samus the whole time.
"Are you sure?" asked Samus with a hint of doubt.
Although she knew that Jorgen was much stronger than her, there was no way that her attacks could take his life, but they would at least hurt him, right? Now that she thought about it, she had her doubts, but as an alchemist, she wanted to confirm them.
"Yes, I'm sure, I want you to show me your limits. When this minute is over, I'll start to attack, only then will our fight begin," Jorgen answered the question, then he started to shake his body, showing his large muscles.
Samus, knowing that it was about to begin, first took out her staff, then a vial from which she drank the contents, then several more.
Just when she thought she had reached her limit of potions, she realized that she could take more, reminding her that she had not yet scanned her body the way she wanted to.
With a palpable desire to test her limits, she took two more potions before realizing that this was her limit. Seven different potions were now her true limit, causing the blonde to smile broadly.
"Ready? Let's get started, you've got a minute," right after saying these words, a thick blue beam erupted from Samus' staff, hitting him directly.
As Samus attacked with this beam, she used her left hand to manipulate the energy in the environment, using her alchemy to create an idea she had perfected since her adventure in the world of Berserk.
She wanted to show Jorgen the true art, the explosion.
