New Companions (Chapter 14)

The sun glared through the trees of the Aki forests it had just turned morning. Although, Hissori didn't really seem to care where he was or how much time had passed he was exhausted. He had been walking non-stop and only managed to reach the end of the second section of the forest at this rate he was never going to get in the last section. He opened the jug of water and drank his lips were cracked so dehydrated and yet the weather was merely mild on that day. Hissori opened the folded paper Goliath gave him.

There was a rough sketch of a map showing the structure of the forest this was represented by four circles. The first as the first section the second inner circle as the second section the third inner circle as the third section and the smallest circle in the middle that's where he was supposed to be to come into contact with the spirit of Byakko no one had ever made it past the second section they said that thing lurk in forest things that are unimaginable.

Hissori didn't care he only had to do one thing and that was to get there. Each section had its own type of trees that's what Goliath had said Hissori remembered the more that you descend to the last section the colour of the trees will be much lighter.

Hissori got up, the sight of the forest was strange. The trees coloured dark brown twisting and turning in different shapes the leaves coloured amber there were so many that it was hard to move through the forest mushrooms sprouted around the ground with different colours and glowed in different ways he had never seen anything like it. Though he had never gone as far as the western region he wondered what the other regions were like.

"This forest is a dump…" Hissori proclaims to himself getting up and sighing. Moved on following the map. Hissori was getting bored of walking he didn't like to say it but he wished for something to entertain him in the slightest.

Hissori's stomach growled he hadn't eaten since he entered the first section. He opened the big bag from goliath and saw boxes of specially packed lunch all different types of sushi. Hissori sighed he hated sushi. He stomached them down in disgust until he got to the last sushi roll when he saw something.

A ginger and white fox with sharp golden eyes hiding behind a tree its eyes darted towards him trying to be hidden Hissori could clearly see it but took no notice and kept walking. The fox moved elegantly past the trees still keeping barely hidden from Hissori. Hissori noticed that the fox wasn't really looking at him at all but the box with one sushi in his hand. Hissori stopped not turning around to see the Fox.

The fox swiftly moved across the forest right where Hissori was and leapt at for the box eating the sushi and bits of the box in the process widely. Hissori looked up and sighed

"ok take it only one left anyway" The fox smiled back its face almost looking like a human with a weird scrunched up smile.

Hissori walked on little by little and behind him the fox followed "you can go now you got what you wanted fox" Hissori explained the fox took no notice and turned around to see who Hissori was talking to "Go fox you can't come with me" Hissori said trying not to get annoyed the fox glared and turned around to see who Hissori was talking to again acting like it wasn't the fox he was talking about.

Hissori sighed and walked on not taking any notice to the fox "You can go were ever I don't own you…"

Hissori and the fox looked up to see that they had reached the entrance of the Third section the trees were lighter coloured and vaster. However, something was off about this area of land so off that It felt like they were being watched.

Meanwhile at the entrance of Avalon Hillside the gates stood wide open as guards let carriages pass by one small in particular stopped near one of the marketplaces of Avalon a man stepped out his identity kept hidden with a brown cloak he yawned and threw a piece of gold at the driver and waved.

"SO, THIS IS AVALONNNN!" The man stretched and threw off his cloak into a market stand

. The man was revealed as Redkill Ricker newly joined to the rebellion unit "HOPE THERES SOME STRONG PEOPLE HERE!!!" Ricker shouted in the marketplace not caring about the people staring at him.

"Gotta be serious and find Hediki and Aiko I'm so excited to see how strong the boss of the rebellion unit is" Ricker gleamed with joy and thought to himself the boss of the rebellion unit must be a badass who would be crazy enough to oppose the regions Emperors, the guys got balls and he must be strong. Ricker grinned.

"HEDIKI!! AIKO!! WHERE ARE YOU" Ricker screamed through marketplace "HEDIKI!! AIKO!!" Ricker shouted and scratched his head well there definitely not here huh. "what did that idiot Dosei say again" Ricker thought to himself scratching his head "something like keep a high profile and fight". Ricker shook his head "No No he wouldn't say that maybe it was keep a profile and go all out fighting"

Ricker stood in confusion messing up his red flared spikey hair "AHH I know it was find a strong person and fight them yeah yeahhh that was it" Ricker grinned and walked off through Avalon.

Ricker didn't realise that Don Dosei actually told him to Go find Hediki and Aiko keep a low profile and don't start a fight. Seems like things were going to start escalating pretty fast.
