Chapter 3: The Undead

Ryu: "What the hell is that!?"

The skeleton throws its hammer, it flies through the air at the two, but Ryu jumps to the side and Yanagi ducks down barely avoiding the hammer. The skeleton holds out its arm and the hammer flies back to it.

Ryu: "Well, there goes any chance of disarming this thing."

Ryu draws his katana, it has a blood red blade with a golden hilt and a black and white handle, the weapon was called Blood Rose.

Ryu dashes forward and slashes the skeleton across its chest, but it doesn't even faze it. The skeleton brings its hammer down on Ryu, but he rolls behind the undead and slashes it across the back.

The undead quickly brings its hammer around and slams it into Ryu's side, sending him flying into the tombs wall.

Yanagi runs forward and slams his closed fist into the skeleton's head, causing it to stumble forward, the undead turns around and brings its hammer down on Yanagi. He catches the hammer with his gauntleted hands, catching its momentum.

Ryu blinks a few times to clear the blurriness from his eyes, he grabs Blood Rose and returns to his feet. He rushes forward and plunges Blood Rose through the undead's back, Yanagi sees the blade of Blood Rose come through the other side.

Ryu rips Blood Rose back out and Yanagi kicks the creatures legs out from under it, Yanagi then grabs the skeleton's hammer and smashes its head in with it. The life fades from the undead's eyes.

Yanagi looks over the hammer and notices that the handle says 'Babo's Lost Way'.

Ryu: "You alright?"

Yanagi: "I'm fine, you?"

Ryu: "My ribs are a little sore from that hammer, but yeah I'm good."

Ryu tries to walk but falls to his knees clenching his ribs.

Ryu: "I think I might need that doctor now too."

Yanagi puts Ryu's arm around his shoulder to help him walk and the two head back to town.
