Same Routine in Twilight

[A/N: Hello everyone,

It is once again time for starting another adventure together.

This time I will try a different approach because I have come to learn that I have ADHD, well, it sucks, but it is what it is.

The story takes place in a 'Monster Infested World', meaning, there will be all sorts of night dwellers, and monsters like Vampires, Werewolves, Skin changers! Also, characters from the Vampire Diary, the Original's, Twilight, Teen Wolf, and many more will be popping up and joining the fun, I will point out from which series they are so do NOT worry.

Unlike most Fan Fictions, I want to try and actually write a different setting like I know we love FF, but I want my character to live his life.

And now, the repetitive part about how I need your money so that I don't end up as a miserable hobo or as a semi ugly hooker on the street's, and where you people then think: 'I ain't having no money for this dude, he enjoys what he is doing why ought I pay him, or something like, I will just skip this part.'.

Do you get benefits for being a Patron? Maybe yes, maybe no, I am unsure how to sell myself or how to generate a good or great image of myself, I have tried, and I failed at it all throughout high school and university.

[Gabriel Gray: Memoirs of a transmigrated Vampire]

[Entry number one. From 1801 to 1806]

I, or rather my former self, was embraced on the fourteenth of February 1801 in a place where around 30 years later Chicago is going to be by some arsehole.

She did not even bother making sure if I am dead for good or if I have survived?

Anyway, I was lucky enough because despite my former self dying, I managed to take over and survive the embrace, and I became a vampire.

Did I choose to become one?

No.

Would I ever select to become one?

Maybe, if I never became aware of all the alternatives that roam this new world, I found myself into.

My first few years were at best described as difficult and at worst as a complete and utter disaster, I was sloppy, easily excitable, clueless, and alone. More often than not, I ended up killing whole families! Seriously, it is a miracle I survived past my first year.

I feasted without being able to hold back, I killed on impulse, and repeatedly I left behind a scene that is best described as a gore-ish nightmare of broken bodies and blood.

I didn't know how exactly I managed to stay undetected, but looking back, it was more luck rather than superior skill or meticulous planning by my amazing brain.

Had I been 'born' in, let us say, the 21st century rather than the early 19th century, I would have been caught in a matter of a few days.

The media would have surely reported on all the missing people, on all the corpses, on all the fingerprints, and so on.

Anyway, after calming down and getting my shit somewhat together, I started planning, I started hunting for actual 'prey' material, humans that won't be missed.

It never sat well with me to randomly kill humans, wiping out whole families in a night, and so I looked for hobo's, homeless people, old people, humans that had no one to miss them.

I even feasted on animals, but the taste is kinda bland compared to how humans taste.

[Entry number two. From 1806 to 1810]

Exactly five years after my 'Embrace' in the year 1806, I was hiding in the wilderness, staying away from humans as good as I could, well, because I had zero self-control, and I was slowly losing it.

My senses were going haywire, I could smell half the city, hear the blood pumping inside their veins, see their beating hearts, and so I decided that staying away might help me calm down.

I am unsure of why this is happening, although I feel as if a part of me is trying to adapt to my new bodies limitations, but it is not working out and then I adapt once more. Is my body maybe evolving faster than I am able to adapt to it?

A few months into my second year in the wilderness I had my very first encounter with a fellow Vampire, his name was Kum'Boh, he was from Africa and a living history book so to say.

The man was born in the year 1117 A.D. and his stories about how events really played out or why they happened in the first place the way they did were enlightening.
