SAMANTHA, MY LOVE

“Great! Now your insulting me by asking my hand for marriage.” Samantha growled, Face filled with annoyance to the point that if looks could kill, Danielle would be buried six feet under. “I’m not insulting you, Samantha. In fact, I’m serious in proposing to you!” Danielle answered angrily. “It’s not like I only wanted to marry you for your body, but rather I wholeheartedly offering you my name!” “Easy for you to say that! Have you gone mad, Dani? You’re asking me to marry you when in the first place we don’t even know each other well. Also, I don’t feel the same way as you. And the fact that we’re both women!” “Look, Samantha, I’m saving you from a life that will be filled with misery. Do you want to marry that bastard? I am saving you from your mother and from that bastard. You don’t love him; you also don’t love me. Between the two of us, I am much more preferable than him. So can’t this be a win-win situation for the both of us? You marry me instead of him, you’re free from your mother and I get what I want.” Danielle said. “At least you don’t have to pretend like you want to marry him. And so what if we are both women? Its not like it is bad for both women to be together, and its already the 21st century.” Danielle has a point. Even if they are both women its not really a big problem anymore since a person can marry whoever they like legally . Also, She’s a well-known successful woman in the business industry and everyone is aware of her sexuality. The problem lies within her who is straight. However, Samantha is starting to think that’s not true for she has been feeling something towards Danielle nowadays. Can they make it work even with her tumultuous feelings towards Danielle? Episode 3

As they were finished eating Danielle glanced at her.

"Thank you, for the dinner," Samantha asserted

Matthew gives her a cheeky smile.

"I should probably pack my things and get on the road before it gets so dark."

"I'll drive you home, Love." Danielle conveyed.

"Thank you, Miss Montgomery but I can deal with myself." She argued and urged a smile.

"Hey, stop that little argument, you two. Hermana, I instructed you to be nice on her, yeah? Come on, I may be found you entertaining but quit it okay? Okay, I realize, it was completely my shortcoming but... can you, guys, please end that inadequate argument?"

Matthew snarled.

Danielle squeezed her lips together as Samantha look down on the floor realizing what she did was a little irrational fallout.

"Okay, Samantha Love Gilbert meet my sister Danielle Montgomery a famous Businesswoman and a yank. Danielle, meet my friend Samantha Love, Rachel's cousin."

"Oh, hey, Sammy, it's getting dark. Do you want me to drove you to Small Town?" Matthew offered.

"Ah, no, thanks, Matty, I'll be upstairs and packed little clothes," said Samantha. She turned and headed to her room.

SAMANTHA REMEMBERED their conversation in the dining room as they are nearly finished. Danielle is nice perhaps a little yank every time, she did divulge her to ask about her. Well, Samantha took pleasure in it, wouldn't withhold that fact. She snickered recalling the question she asked on her. Usually, Samantha does not bestow about someone's life, but things unexpectedly altered.

"Age?" It was not deemed the scepticism she would implore but it slipped on her mouth.

"Gonna be Thirty this week."

Plenty of questions infiltrating into her mind but she maintained it on herself, startled if she'd be mortified furthermore. Excessively personal and it is not on her vocabulary to ask a personal question, they merely met; not in a decent manner.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" Samantha heard what Danielle's solicited on her.

Is she thrilled her? Precarious but it doesn't seem to be mean anything, yeah. It is improper to assume that way. What is supposed to be her reply to her question? Does she have a boyfriend? Can Louis be considered as her boyfriend? Can she call him a "boyfriend" that her mother preferred for her?

"I don't have a boyfriend."

"Did I asked you such a personal question?" Danielle interrogated. "Are you sure? Aren't you just deluding or that's why you're going home because your boyfriend is at your parents' home?

"I don't get your point, Miss Montgomery."

"Isn't that more solace for Emily, if you have a boyfriend and you are not just a random bitch that Matthew bragged in. Don't you think?"

"As much as I tell her the truth, there's nothing for her to be uncomfortable around me. If she doesn't want to believe me, then so be it. I don't care." Samantha leaned back to her chair.

"Nice."

Samantha stares at Danielle's eyes.

"Okay, I'll trust you. But It'll be more comfortable if you'd marry someone, you know," Danielle said.

"Don't tell me things that I don't want to do. Besides, I'm not planning on getting married to anyone, right now. I want to enjoy my freedom," Samantha answered.

Danielle laughed.

"Are you saying that getting married is like committing suicide?"

She shrugged. As much as possible Samantha doesn't want it for now. Perhaps if the right man comes right in front of her and proposed to her, but for now it does not include on her bucket list.

"I did not say that. Let's just say I'm not ready. If that time comes I'm already done enjoying my freedom."

Danielle gazed at her with a serious expression on her face.

"So, you are one of those modern like women that believe equality of the sexes?" Danielle opened the canned beer that Matthew probably prepared it for her sister.

"Well, you can say that but I still have this double standard personality. Admit it o not, we have much more to lose than with those men."

Danielle nodded constantly.

"I like your guts, Samantha Love, you know? This is the first time I acknowledged to someone, I like her."

"Oh please stop quoting my second---"

"Isn't that cute? Love," her voice became sweet.

Samantha felt her cheeks turn red. It feels like all of her blood came to rush up to her cheeks and all her resentment vanished. She's straight since birth and has a lot of lesbian friends in high school up to College, but this person just quoting her second name renders her heartbeat hastily than a normal beat. Danielle can effortlessly do that...

She rolled her eyes heavenwards. What is she thinking?

Danielle chuckled.

How she loved the sound of Danielle's laugh. It's like harmony to her ears.

Afterwards, Danielle asks again.

"What if there is someone ready to court you?"

"That someone must be willing to wait for me when or when I am going to be ready," Samantha reply with determination.

"What if I am that someone and I'll make you change your mind?" Danielle gawked at her.

Samantha became muted.

"That was not funny, Miss Montgomery," she mumbled.

"You should've seen your face, Samantha, my Love," Danielle said. "You look funny."

Oh, how she hated this lady!

SAMANTHA DON'T HAVE ANY INTENTION to overheard the conversation of Matthew and Danielle. She was done packing her things. It seems like they were having a serious conversation. She is on the last step of the stairs. Danielle's friskiness changed into an apathetic mood.

"I did warn you that I'll be home, Matty. You never told me about her too same as you don't even warn her."

"Come on, Sis, aren't you glad that you've got the chance to be with Samantha? Samantha's real stunner isn't she?"

"Shut up, Matty," Danielle told with authority in her voice. Not even pleased.

"What can you say about Samantha? She's beautiful right?"

"Matthew cut the chase. I don't care about your stupid questions. As I want you to do is talk to her and tell her that she is not allowed to stay here anymore!"

Samantha rushed back to her room. Feeling ashamed of herself. Why that flirty woman did she allowed to flirt with her! Is some kind of hopeless romantic that she allowed that to happen? When the fact is Danielle was just making fun of her. She was thinking wrongly.

That she concluded everything so instantly.
