Chapter three: The battle

Stephen paced back and forth in the throne room.. He'd informed Luna about Damon's plan and she assured him that she's strong enough to protect herself and their son...

Stephen knew she wasn't lying but he was worried yet still... He told her not to come out of her chambers till the battle is over.. Luna agreed and promised that she'll do as he said...

*Back to the present*

Stephen was still in deep thoughts until the sound of loud sirens and ear-splitting screams jolting him out of his thoughts "they're here" he gritted his teeth angrily.. He hurried outside only to see a fierce battle going on... He changed into his wolf-like self and starting fighting back the vampires but they were too many of them...

******Queen's chambers*****

Luna heard the screams coming from outside and realized that the battle has begun... She felt a little scared, suddenly she felt a hand touched her shoulder "don't worry your highness, everything is gonna be alright.. his highness is the strongest Man I know and he will surely win this battle.. I know it for sure".

She turned and saw Lisa and gave a small smile "I know Lisa.. I'm not doubting my husband's strength.. I'm just... A little worried".

"it's normal to feel worried.. I would feel the same if I were in your shoes my queen" Luna walked up to the cradle where the baby laid, carried him and walked towards the bed while Lisa just stared "my baby is not safe here... We need get out of here" Luna bent a little and brought out a small basket that had a fluffy blanket inside, making it look like a mini bed for babies, and kept it on the bed.

"but your highness!!.. his highness strictly warned not to leave the room no matter what!!" Lisa said, trying to make Luna reconsider.

"my mind is made up Lisa!.. you might not know Damon very well but I do!!... Damon will go any length to harm us, don't you understand!!" Luna yelled a little and turned to the bed, and placed the baby in the basket, wrapped him with the blanket and lifted the basket up.. "I don't know Lisa but I have a feeling that Damon is almost here!!.. we need to leave now!!!".

"Too late for that" Luna and Lisa turned, only to see Damon leaning on the wall while smirking.

"H..how?" Lisa stuttered.. she was short of words.

"What do you want Damon?" Luna asked, putting on a mean face.

"Are you seriously asking me that?!.. but if you insist, I'll tell you... I want your baby" Damon smirked.

"And why if I may ask?" Luna asked.

"that baby was blessed with unimaginable powers.... He's a threat to me!.. I want him gone!" Damon smiled evilly.

"I won't let you harm my baby!!" Luna said.

"well if you insist, I guess we'll have to do this the hard way" Damon said as his fangs grew longer; he charged towards them... Luna quickly handed the basket to Lisa and chanted some spells and walls of fire surrounded her and Damon. (P.s: Luna was born with superpowers).

"Lisa hurry!!.. carry the baby and get out of here now!!" Luna yelled..

Lisa nodded in agreement as she took the baby and ran out the room...
