RWBY: Ice Queen

Jaune run away from home to fulfill his dream, with months of preparation he was set to go, but unfortunately he wouldn't be able prepare what's coming next. Meeting the sadistic Ice Queen known as Esdeath as a teenager. This is probably surprising that this isn't a harem, considering what kind of author am I.  But yes, this is a single F/M relationship story with Jaune x Esdeath.

Jaune wasn't sure what to do with this girl clinging to his right arm, he asked her why she was doing this and she answered.

"You are mine, obviously I can do whatever I want with you."

He was speechless when she said that without pausing, despite her clear intent he didn't believe her because there's no way someone as beautiful as her would be interested in him, she must have been doing this to tease him, he was sure of it.

Deciding to ignore that issue for now, because there's another issue that he needed to take care of.

To survive in the middle of the forest at night, the sky was getting darker. He needed to find shelter, a secure place where they were safe from the Grimm. They are more dangerous at night than they are in the day because they could camouflage in the dark.

"Esdeath, we need to find shelter for tonight." He said to the girl who was still clinging to his arm.

He would never say this out loud but, he truly enjoyed her clinging, as he could feel her breast pressing on his right arm. While he wasn't a stranger to being pressed by mounds of flesh by his sisters, this was the first time he felt a girl's touch aside from his sisters.

Esdeath had a thoughtful look on her face, and finally let go of his poor arm, he was a bit disappointed though.

"A shelter, I think I remember seeing a small cave before." Esdeath suddenly grabbed his hand without permission dragging him from who knows where.

A part of him wanted to complain, but in the end, he didn't because hopefully, she knows where she's going.

After a few minutes of walking, they finally found the cave that Esdeath was talking about, despite how crude it is compared to his room. He was satisfied that at least they found a proper shelter for tonight.

Hopefully, no Grimm would ambush them, because that would be suck, while Esdeath is capable of protecting herself, he wasn't. That's why he prayed to the brothers that they wouldn't encounter a Grimm tonight.

It was truly dark, even with the moonlight. He grabbed his backpack and took his scroll and used its flashlight to lighten the small cave.

As soon as he did, the bats inside the cave flew toward him, almost making him fall to the ground.

"W-woah!" Thankfully he managed to stand his group or else it would be truly embarrassing to be seen by her falling into the ground again.

"That was close, bats you know what I mean?" He looked at Esdeath while trying to act cool.

However, she wasn't paying attention to his blunder, but the scroll in his hands. Surprised, she asked curiously. "What item is that?"

Jaune blinked and didn't expect that question from her. "It's a scroll, you don't know about it?"

"A scroll? But it looks nothing like one!" Esdeath pointed out.

He was speechless once more, but honestly, he can see her point, at some point in time he did ask the same question himself. "Well, it's just called scroll alright? It's different from that parchment of paper. Anyway, have you never seen one?"

"No, I didn't," Esdeath admitted quite easily.

Oh..if that's the case, he wondered how backward the place she was raised in, everyone from remnant almost knew about the existence of scrolls.

No scratch that, he had a lot of questions in his mind right now, like what is she doing in this place because unlike him, he didn't think that she's lost or something.

"Say, can I ask you a question?" He asked.

Esdeath nodded and replied. "You may, but first I need to gather some firewood and light it up."

"Wait, why? We don't need it since we already have a light in the cave." He pointed out.

"I know, but that's not what I'm going to do with the fire, I'm going to use it to cook food." She explained the reason why she wanted to gather firewood.

"Huh, then.. where are you going to get food?" He asked, confused.

Esdeath frowned at his question but regardless she answered. "Hunting."

"I see- wait what?! You're going to hunt for food at this time?!" He shouted incredulously.

"Of course, if I don't hunt what are we going to eat?" She answered like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Wait, wait you don't need to hunt, it's dangerous!"

"It doesn't matter, this isn't the first time I've hunted at night."

Just from that sentence alone, he realized something about Esdeath, first, she wore tribal clothing, second, she didn't know what a scroll was, and third the need to hunt for food.

Like solving the missing puzzle, something clicked inside him. "Esdeath, were you raised in some kind of tribe?"

"That's right." Esdeath nodded, confirming his suspicion.

No wonder she's ignorant of things, she simply lived in a backwater location.

"I see, thank you for answering." He nodded satisfied with the answer she gave him, then continued. "You don't need to hunt, you know, I have some bread and canned food in my backpack."

Esdeath tilted her head at him, he didn't say anything and just opened his backpack revealing a lot of canned products.

He threw a canned pineapple toward Esdeath, she caught it with ease. "Oh, this is the canned food you mentioned?"

"Yes? Do you know what it is?" He said.

Esdeath let out a huff and replied. "Of course I do, sometimes there's a merchant that trades goods with our tribe. Though I didn't know what it was called but now, I do."

He let out a sigh, thankfully she wasn't that ignorant, or else it would be hard for him to explain whatever city products he'd show to her.

Thankfully he managed to stop her from hunting tonight, he didn't want to put her at risk even though she's clearly a more competent fighter than him.

Esdeath was eating the sliced pineapple in the can he gave her. "It's sweet, however, it's not fresh."

Hearing that he shrugged and replied. "Obviously, the point of canned food is to preserve food for years."

"I see…" Esdeath digested the information.

Now that he's in a comfortable place, he realized that he was alone, with a beautiful girl in a cave.

And it just hit him, his mind suddenly went overdrive, right now he absolutely had no idea what to talk about.

To begin with, he was socially awkward, not to mention a dork. "Ummm…."

He started sweating behind his back, as he didn't know how to continue the conversation.

All of a sudden, Esdeath asked. "Do you have a family?"

His ears perked up with that question, that's a topic that he could talk about without a problem. "Yes, I do. I have 7 sisters, 3 of them are older than me and 4 are younger than me. I'm

the middle child, the only male aside from my dad of course."

Esdeath was surprised by the size of his family, and her reaction made him smile. It works every time, and most people would be surprised by a large number of his family.

"That's a big family."

"Yes, indeed what about you? Do you have siblings?" He asked curiously.

"No," She shook her head.

"Oh, what about your parents?"

"They're dead," Esdeath replied casually like she was talking about the weather.

"O-oh…sorry..my condolences." Jaune winced, he didn't mean to ask about such painful memories.

"Don't be, they died because they're weak that's all to it." Esdeath stared at him while smiling.

Her smile made him shiver down his spine.

How could she say something like that? Like it was the common sense of the world.

He tried to ignore what she said and forcefully continued the conversation. "W-what about your other relatives?"

"The same as my parents, dead but don't be sorry for them, they all died because of their weakness. While I survived because I'm strong." She stared at him with the same beautiful smile.

He immediately felt goosebumps all over his skin, he realized that the girl known as Esdeath wasn't normal because she sees the world differently.

An ideology different from his.

"I-i see…" He couldn't help but avert his eyes to a direction where Esdeath wasn't there.

Suddenly he felt someone clasping his hands, forcefully shifting his attention back to her.

She had a perfectly beautiful smile on her face as she stared at him lovingly. "Don't worry about dying anytime soon, I'm strong I will protect you because you are mine and no one else."

At that moment, he realized that she might not be joking about making him, hers.

Dun~ dun~ duuuuuun~! There's no escaping from her now jauney boy!

Before I start the Beacon arc, I still need to train Jaune because in the original he's too damn weak.

After I start the Beacon arc, he'd be at least at a huntsman-in-training level.

Now that I think about it, Esdeath is basically the superior version of Raven, who is a firm believer of the strong survive and the weak die.

But isn't a coward unlike Raven.
