Weiss: "You're... leaving?" Looking down from just above both of them in the courtyard I continue to quietly eavesdrop on them while shining this apple, looking down at my dear sister I can't wait to surprise Winter! It's been so long since I last spoke with her...
Winter: "Yes, I was merely needed to oversee the transport of additional units to Vale. Our last shipment was lost to an ambush... I believe you and your team had a run-in with its cargo, actually."
The Atlas mechs are shitty at best, at least when you compare them to a titan, I mean they did fight an Atlesian Paladin-290 Prototype but still in the fall of Beacon Velvet herself could take on one or two of the Advanced models with the weapons and skills of her fellow students and teammates.
Winter: "It's fortunate those Paladins were still in the prototype stage. Otherwise, your team may not have fared so well." She smiles at Weiss and puts a hand on her hand. "Weiss... You've done... well. Out here on your own, you should be proud." She smiles at Weiss, even if it's a bit strict.
Weiss: "I am, but what about Whitley?" Wait, Weiss no! Not the question about me!
Winter: "He will be coming home with me, I have no idea how he got here." Aw, man... I'm not going back to the sperm donor.
Whitley: "I'll be honest, it was incredibly funny watching the look on our sperm donor's face when you first left for Beacon. *Crunch*" Aww man, they were in sync for a second there. Both stood beside each other and aim their swords up at me!
Whitley: "My dear sisters! You would dare point your weapons at your crippled brother!?" Holding a hand to my chest I can see they are not amused, at least not as amused as I was watching them scramble together to protect each other back at my surprise entrance. They sit back down with their weapons put away.
Weiss: "We both know that you aren't crippled any longer, Whitley." Yes, give me the cute pout you do when your are upset but not really.
Winter: "You will be coming home with me, that is non-negotiable Whitley... How did you even sneak onto my ship?" She scowled at me before looking befuddled, I only gave her a dead-pan look. "Right, your "spine", I should've seen that coming. *sigh*"
She sighed in what I can only guess an attempt was exasperation for this very situation has happened when I provided her with better security on her scroll.
Whitley: "Anyway, enough about me and how Winter will fail to drag me back to "Father", what's been going on with you Weiss?" Weiss huffed before she looked proud and ready to share her knowledge.
Weiss: "I can't wait to show you what I've learned!" She seemed ecstatic at the prospect, even proud to show off.
Winter: "Oh, and what do you think you've learned?"
It was at this point Whitley hung upside down from his spot, quietly listening to Weiss and Winter talk as he contemplated his next move. He watched as Winter explained the Schnee family semblance, watched as Weiss tried to summon and didn't do anything.
Weiss: "It was really good to see you, Winter." Both shared a heartfelt Hug.
Winter: "Until next time, Sister." Winter looked up at Whitley and noticed the contemplative look. "Whitley we are leaving now." Getting him to break from his thoughts as he moved his eyes to winter.
Whitley: "Well my dear sisters, I do believe I'm needed elsewhere. Ciao!" With a quick okay-hand sign, he disappears in a flash of blue.
Winter: "Whitley!" She sighs and shakes her head in exasperation, for she knows she won't find Whitley unless he wants to be found and walks off with Weiss.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was late at night when Ruby made her way to Beacon Clif, Sitting there with his legs hanging off the Clif was Whitley, walking up beside him she sits down and lets her legs dangle she leans into his right.
Ruby: "Hey" Whitley didn't respond as he stared up at the stars, Ruby stayed quiet as she joined him in the star gazing... It was nearly 30 minutes later when he talked.
Whitley: "We made so many plans for what we would do if we ever reincarnated in a... fictional... world." She smiled, his hesitation at calling this world fictional was something she greatly appreciated, she snaked her left arm around his waist and pulled him closer.
Whitley: "We have so many things we can and can't do, some many things we can and can't change, that begs the question."
He leaned his head onto hers and sighed, taking in her warmth as his rand arms snaked around her waist and squeezed her into his side. He smiled the decent of rose on the air as he closed his eyes and leaned backward, taking Ruby with him.
Ruby: "What will we actually do?" She whispered as she closed her eyes, his left-hand wrapping around her right with a square object.
Peaking at it she notices an MP3 player and quickly takes the offered item, fiddling with it in one hand she click on "P" and scrolls down to the "Persona" Folder selecting Anime, Persona 3 The Movie, #3 Track 9.
Putting it back into his hand that was waiting she fished out a set of earbuds and connected them, putting one into his ear and one into hers, grabbing it back she press the loop button before pressing play.
She let the music-box soundtrack play and relaxed, letting all of her worries go, and felt Whitley do the same. They lay there in silence listening to the music and watching the stars like they used to back in their original world.
Whitley: "This reminds me of the night we met, the night sky and fresh air... The movie theatre we just left... and you tripping into me." He spoke with a reminiscing tone, the nostalgia clear in his voice as he spoke Japanese.
Ruby: "I was dressed as FeMC, and you Makoto." She spoke with an equal amount of nostalgia, both smiled at each other when they turned their heads to each other in sync.
Staring into each other's eyes, they share a kiss, one full of emotions. There was Lust, Adoration, Sadness, Happiness, and all sorts of other conflicting emotions as they melted together and intertwined their limbs.
A pillow and blanket traced into existence around them as they got comfortable, they hugged one another and stayed like that for what felt like eternity. They stare into each other's eyes with determination as they plan out what they will do.
Whitley: "Pyrrha." He asked with a raised brow.
Ruby: "She is my friend and I will castrate you if we won't save her." She smiled at him in delight, their faces not that far apart. She gets a fearful nod in response as he moves onto the next topic.
Whitley: "Fall of Beacon?"
Ruby: "Something that needs to happen, I know you've visited Ironwood and gave him upgraded security but make it so the bots only target Huntsmen."
Whitley: "Amber?"
Ruby: "Leave that to me, she will not survive much longer than 5 minutes outside that pod of hers."
Staying quiet they both embrace each other, and slowly they fall asleep under the watchful eyes of a Dusty old crow and Wizzard.
