"Poor Sheila…" Elizabeth mused to herself, as she navigated her way through the night. Her plan to get the maid out of the way had worked successfully. All she had to do was to walk in and poison the child. Her heart was brimming with excitement, and unease at the same time.

She feared what could happen if she got caught, but then, the reward of what would happen if she was able to get rid of Maya's baby. That would be more than enough to kill all of Alpha Charles's affections for her, as she thought. After that would be out of the way, she would be able to get the alpha back on her side.

The plan was perfectly mapped out in her head, and she could already imagine Maya in tears, mourning her child. She put her hand on the knob, and cautiously pushed the door open.
