Saku's eyes widened a little then they returned to the usual position before he squinted them. All these movements seemed slow as if he was thinking about something. And yes, Saku was. 

What he was hearing from Beowulf at that moment was news to him. It was new information and Saku hated being in the dark about things. At the same time, he didn't want to ask Beowulf to elaborate on what he meant by that question because it would seem like there was something that he wasn't aware of. Saku hated the mere thought of it.

Without looking at his wife, Saku knew that Luana was looking at him as if she was waiting for his response to Beowulf's question. 

There we go again, Saku thought with irritation towards Luana's support of Beowulf. Because of that, or perhaps some other reason,  Saku irritated his teeth hard and said.

"I will respond to the questions that you have, later on, Beowulf, " Saku said to the surprise of both Luana and Beowulf.
