Chapter 97

Cleo glanced around surprised. "What's happening? What's the noise about?"

"Sawyer dude just flipped everyone the finger and walked out." Josh, a guy on James' tennis team replied. 

"I wonder what made him pissed again," James muttered. 

Cleo rolled her eyes. "He's always pissed."

"He probably couldn't start looking at the two of you." Amber, Josh's girlfriend said giving them a teasing stare. "Are you guys a couple now or something?"

Cleo stiffened. She glanced at the faces of the guys and girls who sat at the table. They all wore wide grins and some wiggled their brows. She dropped her spoon. 

Was that what they all thought?! That I and James are together?

"Or something," James replied and when she turned to look at him, he was staring at her intensely. 

She gave him a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes and echoed, "Or something."
