Chapter 65

" Thank you!" Coraline said, pulling her into a hug. She was overwhelmed with glee that drops of tears trickled down her cheeks. 

" C'mon it's nothing! If you were in my shoes I know you would do the same for me," Pandora said, sipping her wine. 

After refreshments, they regrouped back and took turns giving her gifts. From appliances to clothes, jewelry, kitchen equipment et al, they were all tabled before her and she likewise opened most of the gifts– some she would say a few words of thanks, others she would give the well-wisher or friend a hug in appreciation. 

Finally, it was Pandora's turn. She walked to the stage gently, with a delicate parcel placed in a little peach box. As she got to where her friends sat, she stretched out her hand and opened the top off to reveal a glittering diamond necklace with a picture of her and Coraline crested in a pendant and attached to it.
