Chapter 60

As she walked into the backroom of the empty stage, she searched around for Pandora. The show was still five hours away, but the backstage was already as busy as a beehive. Brushes and makeup kits were passed around while Mr. Jack was seen running around giving orders and keeping everyone in check. 

" Hey what's up?" She said, laying down her purse on the table. She noticed how her boss was looking worn out and tired. 

" What's going on? I'm calling you and you aren't picking up my calls!" Pandora blurted out. Throughout last night, she didn't sleep much as she worried for Braxton. One minute he had assured her he was fine, and the next, he was driving out late with a bottle of wine in his hand. How fine was that? She had only been able to catch some sleep early this morning and that was when he stumbled back in with his shirt off and his breath oozing booze stench, after ignoring her countless calls and messages. Even Matt didn't know his whereabouts.
