Sweet smell of blood

Hernia stood up back and grabbed her throat pinning her back to the chair. Five guards entered the room and approached her but she used her powers to kill two.

Nina was still pinned down trying to use her powers on Hernia but to no avail. Five more guards came inside and forcefully placed the electric shocker cap on her head.

They took the whip and angrily strike her on her legs. Her skin tore instantly with blood coming out.

Talon wanted to save her but he was still glued against the wall. He watched as the guards whipped her leg strike after strike. She was healing slow since she hadn't fed for days.

Another strike landed on her leg and she calmed down. She glowered at them with ferocious eyes. Even when she was hurt, she didn't show any signs of weakness which made the demons get more angrier and Hernia landed a blow on her nose making it crack.

Piper stepped forward and switched on the electric shocker. This time she didn't move her body. She remained still and watched all the memories in her head blocked out.

After about ten minutes, she blacked out.

"Talon, you watch over the girl in her room. Hannah will bring some blood when she wakes up." Hernia ordered.

"She will cooperate with us now that she has lost all her memories," Hernia muttered.

The demons disappeared leaving only Talon and the young girl. The demons had told him that he would join Nina in fighting with Lucifer.

Since the girl would not bring more problems in the future by planning to escape, she would be given a new room. Slowly, he lifted her up and teleported to the new room which was pure white.

He laid her on the bed and sat down at the far end of the room. He could see the black tears coming out of her eyes.

After waiting for hours, she finally opened her eyes with a yawn. She sat down upright and gave him a small smile.

"What I'm I doing here?" She stood up looking around with confusion.

"This is your new home." Talon returned the smile back to her.

"My home?" She was still confused.

Her legs was healing slowly so she looked down at it with confusion. "What happened to me?"

The door opened instantly and Hannah came inside with a can of blood.

"You need to feed to heal yourself." Talon took the can from her.

"Then I need cooked food or anything I can eat. I also need a doctor. Why are you giving me a can of blood?" She questioned.

"You need to drink blood to heal from the wound," Talon stated.

She looked at them as if they had lost their sanity.

"What are you doing?" She took multiple steps backward. "I don't need it. I need food."

"You are a demon. You need blood to survive." He stepped forward till they were inches apart.

He ran his hands through his hair as he stared at the frightened girl. Seems like everything in her head was wiped out. She didn't remember she was a demon or that the demons were preparing her for something.

He opened the can of blood and drew it to her nose level for her to perceive the content.

The smell of blood hit Nina's nose and she looked up at Talon. The sweet rich smell of the metallic blood instantly made her fangs elongate. Even though the beast in her was pushing her to drink the blood, she stood there in trance.

Talon sighed before placing one hand at the back of her head and he carefully raised the can to her mouth.

"Drink." She urged her.

She quickly snatched the can from him and drove the blood inside her mouth. Once the blood touched her mouth, her whole body which felt weak slowly came back to life.

She drank the blood all in one gulp. She needed more. Talon grabbed another can of blood from Hannah and gave it to Nina.

Her wounds were healing and within seconds they closed up. Once she was done with the blood, she threw it to the ground and stared at Talon.

They were inches apart with his breath falling upon her face. He watched as her eyes turned black.

She ran her teeth through her long fangs and continued staring at him.

"Achoo!"

Hannah sneezed breaking them from the reverie. Talon immediately took a few steps backward.

Nina turned her head to look at the young girl same age with her.

"Your bath. I brought you some clothes too." Hannah placed the white uniform on the bed. "I am Hannah."

The girl had short black hair and a friendly expression.

Nina tried to remember her name. She looked at Talon with confused eyes.

"Nina," Talon introduced her to Hannah.

"Would you need any help. I finished with the chores and thought you might need some help here," said Hannah. Since she had been brought here by the demons, she haven't talked to anyone as the people here are non friendly people. Seeing a girl same age with her brings excitement in her.

"I guess we're friends now." Nina stepped away from Talon and walked to the girl.
