I equip the equipment that I just got.

The Dzoavits armor was similar in design to the actual Dzoavits.

It was a full set of metal armor. The torso and the armor down to just above the elbows and knees was dark brown. On the brown chest plate there were white stubs here and there (arranged in a symmetrical pattern).

But the forearms and the legs were pale white with strange red markings. The gauntlet and grieves had destructive essence moving around them. They even had sharp claws.

The helmet was designed like the Dzoavits' skull. There was a short brown mane emerging from the rear end of the skull helmet too. It even had crimson flames in the eye sockets.

All in all, it had a menacing look.

As soon as I put it on, it adjusted to my body shape. Such that I could see through the eyes of the skull rather than through its mouth.

The armor had interesting skills too, I'll try them out later.

As for the [Vile Eye], it was silver necklace with an orange eye attached instead of a jewel.

An accessory. It had more enhancements and skills as compared to the armor.

I guess that's reasonable as the armor also provides defense while an accessory doesn't, well doesn't necessarily atleast.

|Do you want to spend your quota now? It has piled up from past trials. |

"Not now."

|And your stats, you levelled up alot you know.|

"Maybe in the morning, besides 2 kids are waiting for me outside. If I take any longer, they might just come running in here and get themselves killed from the miasma."

|Can't you just retract the miasma with your skill?|

"I can, but I don't intend to."

|?|

"Make sure to count the points."

|....your more scheming than I thought..|

With that I headed out. The entrance was blocked by rubble so I cleared it and continued. Thankfully, the tunnel hadn't collapsed from the collateral damage from the battle.

"The Dzoavits was weaker than I thought. Othrr than its mindlessness, it seemed immature too— it seemed young."

|That is true.|

"Hmm..."

|What are you gonna do now?|

"You'll find out soon."

|And what about the skills you just got?|

"You'll find that out later."

|Ok....?|

Within moments I reached outside. The sky was clear and the moon was shining down on the destroyed village near this hill.

I took in a deep breath. And exhaled,

"Ah! Finally some fresh air...."

The calm after the storm. It was a nice atmosphere.

Jungkook and Su-jin were standing a few feet away from the tunnel entrance. Jungkook had a worried look on his face. If this keeped up, he would start looking old real soon.

As for Su-jin who was standing next him, she had a look of relief. Looks like she was worried too but became relieved once she saw that I finally came out. She was chewing on a piece of goblin jerky we had made earlier.

"I don't know if you're even human at this point.." (Jk)

"Does it matter?"

"Haaa..... I guess not then." (Jk)

"Oppa must be really strong! The ground was shaking like crazy and all we could hear were explosions insides. The battle must've been epic!" (Sj)

"Yeah, I did have some fun. By the way, never go inside there, not until I allow you."

"Uh, why?" (Jk)

"Cause you'll melt and burn at the same time inside."

"Ok..." (Jk)

"Alright. What now?" (Sj)

"Rest for now, get some sleep. We'll go to the green dungeon in the morning."

"Dungeon?" (Jk)

"That skyscraper covered with vines", I pointed at the building "Its emitting more mana than the other buildings, so I think its something like a dungeon."

There were quite alot buildings here and there, but they were mostly simple. This specific building and a few others, were emitting large quantities of mana. So I guessed they should either have something or was a home to something. That's why I said that it could be a dungeon.

Another reason was that this building was covered entirely with plants and thick vines. It also seemed that said vines were squirming, even from this distance.

"Ah..!" (Sj)

"For now go to sleep, we'll head out in the morning."

"Is the green dungeon its name?" (Jk)

"No, its just covered with vines and its emitting mana with nature attribute–so I just added green to the name for convenience."

"..." (Jk)

"You ok?"

"I'm fine. Just still confused about everything thats going on." (Jk)

"Dont worry too much, you'll get over it with time. I'm gonna keep night watch so relax. I'll wake you up after a few hours to rotate shifts, ok."

"You don't gotta tell me twice, I'm in the army you know." (Jk)

"Yeah yeah, just get some sleep buzz cut."

"If you've spent so many years in another world, how do you still remember what a buzz cut is?"

"I just do, so sleep already. I won't wake you up late, even if you fall asleep at the last moment.

We're in the wild now, no one gives a shit if you're sleeping or taking a shit. They kill when they have to, whenever they can."

Jungkook and Su-jin bought a sleeping bag each with their points. They had gathered alot while killing goblins so points weren't a problem.

I lit a small campfire and they laid their sleeping bags around it. Su-jin was the first to fall asleep, while Jungkook looked like he had a lot going through his head.

I didn't lie, I would wake him up even if he had just fallen asleep. I won't hesitate one bit.

Even though I told them to rest and stressed its importance, I wont repeat myself. I'm not their nanny.

Plus, i guess Jungkook would need some time to sort his thoughts too. He must be worried about his family and Jung-ah back on Earth.

He can't do much but worry, but soon he'll come to terms too. He is calm and capable. He has great potential. If he didn't or if he did but did not show it, maybe I wouldn't have helped him back on the train.

If he couldn't kill a single person, he would've died anyway.

He needs to have courage to face monsters and nightmares.

Only then could he gain the strength to live his life the way he wants.

To protect what he wants.

To protect whoever he wants.

This truth binds everything.

Even the fairies, demons and even Gods.

Whether they believe it or not.

It's a universal truth.

While Dante and the others were camping for the rest of the night, one man was panting heavily while lying on a distant hill.

<<Park Namjoon's POV>>

*pant* *pant*

"Why do I have to go through this.. *pant*.. What sin did I commit to deserve this?!"

This all happened after that white haired kid, Dante or whatever, beat the crap out of the gang boss. After that had been beat up for 'lying' to them. He had been ostracized after that.

'Why didn't you yell us he was that strong!'

'Why did you day that the fairy killed the guys in his compartment and he couldn'tbe much stronger than us! You lying piece of shit!!'

After being beaten up, he was thrown out to survive alone.

He decided to start going in the direction the other 3–Dante's group, had went.

Maybe they will take him back, most likely not. But he may reap some rewards.

That's what he thought atleast.

He had watched as the 3 slaughtered an entire goblin village.

When they had all arrived in the tutorial it was already noon. After all the trials and stuff, it was now dusk.

These kids decided to cook the goblin meat. They had bought cooking utensils and stuff from a fairy and boiled the meat in the goblin's blood.

Back at the train, some people had tried to eat the meat after roasting it on a fire, they suffered from severe vomiting and diarrhoea. Their skin started paling and then turned greenish too. And then they finally died.

But when the white haired kid ate the meat RAW, nothing happened to him.

After that they all ate the meat after cooking it. Nothing happened, rather they were all enjoying it.

How did they know this, what was that white haired kid.

And while I watched them eat leisurely, I myself was starving. My stomach was growling intensely.

After the finished eating, they then packed the remaining food too. They had gathered the meat of most of the goblin.

I could try to get some meat, but I dont know how to cook it properly, I dont want to risk it.

They had let some goblins escape into a tunnel a bit away from the village.

These kids rested a while and then left in the direction of the tunnel. Soon they reached the tunnel and entered it.

I wanted to go after them while maintaining my distance but before I even got close I heard a huge roar from in there.

I immediately left the scene in the opposite direction.

Some time later, all I could hear were explosions.

The night seemed darker than usual. Was that normal in this world. There was no moon, no stars, only darkness.

It seemed like it would never be day again.

I was scared. So I kept running.

I ran till I couldn't.

At some point, I had found myself climbing up some hill. It was then when I tripped.

I had scraped myself badly. But luckily, I hadn't fallen down hill, that would've been more dangerous.

I noticed that I couldn't hear explosions anymore. Was I far away?

No, I guess the battle had ended. Did the monster win?

Or did the kids?

I dont know anymore!!!

*pant* *pant*

That brings us back to here.

I had calmed myself somewhat– but fear still lingered.

What should I do now?

What could I do?

Maybe i could get a weapon or skill from a fairy like those kids. Something that might help.

I tried standing up. I used a rock as a support but it moved from my weight.

It felt as if I had pushed a button or something. Immediately the area around me sunk.

I fell into a hole.

"Hidden Area discovered"

But Park Namjoon didn't hear the system message. Rather, he was concerned about the hole he was falling into.

It was a long slide down.

I landed on my butt.

My body was riddled with scratches and wounds and I was covered with dust.

This was the worst day of my life.

I wanted to cry even.

Why...

Why!?!?

I was minding my own business and going to a junior's party.

I shouldn't have gotten on that train.

Why did this happen.

What sin did I commit in my past life.

I had always had mediocre luck my whole life.

A mediocre job with mediocre pay in a mediocre business company.

Why!?!

I just took a train. I was supposed to be a night if enjoyment.

And then that white haired kid.

He dragged me into fighting goblins.

I tried joining the gangster's faction, but ended up beat up and kicked out.

They even took my dagger from when we fought the goblins!

No weapon.

No food.

I was starving.

Only my shabby luck was keeping me alive.

I hated this place, the fairies, the trials, th‐t-that kid!

I would've been in the gangster's group if that kid didn't make me kill goblins!

I would've been in their group if he didnt fight the gangster's boss!

I would have ended up in that group even if he didnt give me mana!

It was all his fault.

A voice broke me out of my stupor.

"Wh-what... w-w-who.. ?..?"

{..... I'll help you,...I'll give you strength.... Come young child, wield me.... }

A gentle voice, albiet masculine beckoned me.

I hesitated.

Should I follow it? Isnt this the part where the weak side character dues in stories?!

{Trust me.... I wont kill you.... Neither will I throw you in to harm's way.... Come.... Wield me.... Use my strength!}

The voice tempted him.

Power.

It was what he lacked.

The reason others looked down on him.

If he could get it.

Everything would change.

He had no other choice, I couldn't escape from this cave, so he decided to follow the voice.

And he came across, something. Words leaked his mouth as he felt himself being surrounded by shadows.

"Amazing..."

He found something...special.
