I'm sorry and thank you

Leo was a bit taken aback at the girl's confident but still managed to compose himself.

As he was shamelessly about to pull his cloth; he looked up to see Clara holding her mobile phone, the back facing him.

"What are you doing?" he asked halting his process of pulling his cloth.

"Oh! I am sure you wouldn't mind me taking videos as well, I'm sure you would want to see how the whole world will also react to your nakedness." Clara reply to him in a mocking tone.

"What would you gain from that?" Leo asked feeling like there is more to what Clara said.

"At least I will be getting justice for those you sacked for no valid reason and those you took advantage of." she said.

Leo finally realised he was being a jerk. He fired her on her first day at work. If she had received a monthly salary; he might have the guts to protest, since he is paying them double the normal salary, but Clara did not receive a penny.

After, he appeared at her doorstep and ask for her help; she helped him and now he's angry because she said she wouldn't bat an eyelash at his nakedness. it's possible she said that because of the stress she went through since the other night because of him.

He should be grateful, yet he's being arrogant.

Seeing that Leo wouldn't go ahead with the cloth removal, she dropped her phone on the table and stood up.

"I wanted to ask you to sleep more while I take a nap, but seeing how energetic you were just now, I take it back.

Go and wash up. We will talk after I wake up." she said and walked toward Sonya's bed.

"I'm sorry and thank you." Leo said making Clara halted in her steps and turned back to face him.

"It must have been hard on you since last night, I'm sorry for the disturbance and for ordering for your removal at work." Leo apologized.

The only word that went into Clara's brain was, 'hard on you since last night'.

About the sorry part, she knew she couldn't bear to hate him, at least for now. The least she could do is get angry at him.

"It seems you are mistaken again, this is your third day here," she replied.

"What! you haven't slept for the past two days?" Leo asked in shock.

"Yes." Clara replied looking indifferent.

"I'm so sorry, and thanks for not calling the ambulance. Rest well, I won't disturb," Leo quickly apologised feeling embarrassed.

But what surprised him most was how Clara managed to look this beautiful after staying up for that long, there is no sign of tiredness on her face at all.

'Wait! that's right, 'hospital' why didn't I think of that?' Clara thought after listening to Leo's word, which annoys her the more she heard it.

If she had called an ambulance and he was taken to the hospital, she wouldn't go through all she went through, and when Leo gets better; she can still befriend him since he would feel gratitude toward her and she would stick to the opportunity and achieve her aim.

'damn it! I'm such an idiot, do I even have the right to be angry at him?' she was deep in her thoughts, while Leo was busy being bewitched by her beauty once again.

'How can she remained so beautiful after not sleeping for two days?' he asked in his head, looking astonished.

A while later; Clara was deep in slumber, while Leo was charging his phone, which he has gone to retrieved from his car. He then went to take his bath.

After taking his bath, he checked the percentage of his phone battery before disconnecting the charger and dialled Mick's number.

"Hello!" Leo said as the call got connected.

"Leo is that you? are you okay? where are you?" Mick began throwing questions upon questions at him, not giving him a chance to talk.

"Hello! hello! hello! " Mick glanced at his phone and saw that the call has been disconnected.

The phone rang again and he picked it, "hello!" this time he calmed down.

"How do you expect me to answer those questions at once? I'm sorry for worrying you, I'm all right." Leo said.

"Where are you? I will come over at once." Mick said.

"Don't worry yourself, I should be back today or latest tomorrow morning, you have to do something for me." he said.

"What is it?" Mick asked.

"Gather the boys and instruct them to get serious with their training. Tell them to be ready, we will be making our moves very soon." said Leo.

"Leonard! what are you saying? what if he expose your health to the world? you will lose the company to him." Mick said in a loud tone.

"Just do as I said, it's time for payback, I will explain to you when I reach home tomorrow." said Leo.

"Ok, oh wait! he called me and asked why you're not at work and I told him you are not feeling too well but, he doesn't seem to believe me and asked to speak with you."

"I will give him a call." Leo said and disconnected the call.
