CHAPTER 23

Mike's gaze on her was packed with so much heat. He had been holding back, so damn much. In fact, he couldn't believe that with all overflowing desires he felt for this girl, they still never made it to that point even now. He was utterly surprised fully knowing what kind of man he was when it came to sexual pleasures. Perhaps, he managed to hold this much because of this feeling called love.

"Why did you leave me without said goodbye or even told where you were going?" June asked him, as she wrapped her arms around him. Ah, he was so warm and his scent was just good.

" I'm sorry my little Dove, I was not want to worries you because I went to killed Vampire king"

"What? Why?" June asked loud as she wants to seat but Mike hold her tightly in his arms. "Stay still little Dove." He told her with low voice.

June node and push her body closer to him, she stay still as she find comfortable position.

"We're not in good term with Vampire clan, and I find out last week that he killed some of my people. But when I went in war with him I got to know that he was not the one who killed my people." He paused and kissed her head.

"So who's is killed your people?" June asked.

"I found out that is Fox clan that killed my people" he continue to answer every each of her question with patient.

"Fox clan?"

"Yes, there is every kind. Fox clan is small tribe that fight and manipulate people to go to there clan; there king, his thirsty with power he want's to take down others powerful clan"

June was surprised to hear that as she didn't know a thing " So your clan is one of the powerful one, that Fox king wants to take down? "

Mike chuckle at June silly question." Yes little Dove, Lycanthropes clan is in number two in powerful. "

" Ooh that why. "

" Your so silly little Dove" he hit her nose with his finger gentle. June pouted and want to get out off his arms.

But Mike hold her still as he laughed..

At Max bar.

Beautiful, tall girl was seating in the chair at the counter, drinking Pinot Noir wine. She was with someone else seating beside her.

"Why are you at the bar this morning? This is not your things." The person beside her asked her.

Aina didn't answer her as she continue drinking..

The girl beside her node her head as she know Aina won't saying anything if she doesn't want to talk.. they stay in comfortable silence for long, as they continue to drink.

"I loved a man but he doesn't loved me back; and leaving me in pain." Aina told her as she start to get drunk.

Catya Titus widened her purple eyes in shock, turned and looked at Aina. Who laughs at her expression..

"What? Who's the man dare to rejected you? Did he know that your Aina Hygaru? Everyone in our kind is know that your family is rich and have some connection with Alpha King" Catya can't believed that they were man out there who dare to rejected Aina Hygaru.

Aina chuckle and told her " The person who rejected me his not simple man"

" Still no man can rejected you, anyway who's that guy? Did is someone I know?"

Aina take a sip on her glass of wine quitely..

"Answer me Aina." Catya nagging her but Aina didn't answer her.

After a long while, when Catya see that Aina won't answer her... She finish her drink and got up "Sorry Aina, I have to go" she pat her shoulder and went out off the bar.

Catya walked to the green car that was waiting for her and climb in.

"Why are you waiting for me in this hour? When you supposed to be in work." She asked him as she closed car door.

The man beside her hold his chest playful and told her with pain " Aah! Your hurting me baby.. I skipped work to came and picked you up, but what didn't I get" He wipe his fake tears with sad face.

Catya hit his hand and giggle happily " Stop acted like a child Aaron."

Aaron smiled and kiss the back of her hand gentle.
