Confused and Helpless

"Who are you?" Jeames asked the moment he caught sight of a shadow not far away from where he was confined. Looking around, Jeames realized that he could not recognize this place at all. It did not look like a dungeon. More like an underground room, which is common in the north.

"You came to the north to kill me, did you not?" the voice said. This time, Jeames recognized it as the voice of a woman. Hearing the woman's voice, something clicked inside his head. His eyes widened as he tried to move his arms that were tied behind his back.

"You—"

"Jeames Sencler, was it?" the cloaked individual moved closer. She then waved her hand, and lights appeared inside the room.

Jeames snapped his eyes shut; the sudden assault of pure white light hurt his eyeballs.

"Do you not remember me?" Slowly, the cloaked individual removed her hood and revealed a very familiar face. Just as Jeames expected, it was indeed Rosalind.
