"It— it seems that it has finally lost its effect," one of the soldiers answered. "Sir, if things worsen, there is a horse at the back. It is a good one. We will distract the wolves, you must save your own life first."
"You think I don't know that!?" Clinton hissed, his eyes bulging. "Do you think I would stay here and fight a pointless fight?"
The soldier must have realized his mistake as he immediately bowed and apologized to Clinton.
