Reveal and Reaction

The rogues hacked social media algorithms to advertise their livestream that quickly rose to the millions as people curious if it was real and the fact that they are so bold to reveal themselves.

As the countdown his zero the livestream started with Alex flanked by his waifu squad with the Rogue Retribution banner in the background.

Alex: (resolute) "My name is Alex White, and I am the founder or rather leader of Rogue Retribution. I think you know what we do here but for the record we are here to protect the innocent and punish the guilty. Criminals are among us with immunity. For far too long, we've watched as the world suffered from corruption, greed, and an ever-widening divide between those in power and those struggling to survive with Criminals and Gangs only making society worst. I was once a victim, like many of you. I've witnessed the failings of governments and institutions in dealing with our issues, and I've seen the world yearning for relief."

Camera pans to show Alex and the waifu squad, the emblem of Rogue Retribution prominently displayed.

"We are here to help and we are here to stay. We will keep you guys updated for now on Social Media and we have some big projects coming up. Stay Safe and Good Night" 

Alex waves at the camera while his waifus squad give a heart salute in sync.

Intern: (nervously) "Sir, I just discovered something unusual. There's a live stream from Rogue Retribution, and it's gaining a lot of attention. They're about to make a big announcement."

Director: (annoyed) "What's so unusual about that? It's probably just more of their antics. We don't report on vigilantes."

Intern: "But, sir, this time they're revealing their identities and making a major statement. I think it's going to be big news."

Director: (pauses, then grins) "Wait, they're showing their faces? Get me the link. We might have an exclusive here. This could be a game-changer."

The director suddenly saw an opportunity to break a groundbreaking story, and his attitude shifted entirely.

Anchor: (enthusiastic) "Well, that was certainly a powerful message from Alex White, the leader of Rogue Retribution. In a surprise live stream, he declared their mission to protect the innocent and punish the guilty, vowing to take action where governments and institutions have failed. Whether you see them as heroes or vigilantes, one thing is certain, they're making a bold entrance onto the world stage. Social media is already buzzing with reactions to this announcement."

The anchor looks directly at the camera, addressing the viewers.

News Anchor: "We've just heard an unexpected message from an organization called Rogue Retribution. Their leader, Alex White, claims to be a champion of change. But can they really make a difference? Let's ask the people."

Clip 1: A frightened citizen calling them terrorists. "These people have no right to act outside the law. They're terrorists, plain and simple!"

Clip 2: A supportive citizen hailing them as heroes. "It's about time someone took a stand against the corrupt elites. Maybe these guys are the heroes we've been waiting for!"

Clip 3: An unsure individual. "I don't know what to think. They say they want to change the world, but can we really trust them?"

The world watched, divided in its opinion, as Rogue Retribution stood at the precipice of a new era.

The scene shifts to a video reaction on UTube, who comically analyzes the situation.

C: "Well, folks, looks like we actually get to see the man behind the curtain and he has made some bold declarations and is like the anti hero from an anime with what he has done, but we are not here to talk about that, we are here to talk about the other people or rather as you anime weebs know as waifus in this video that social media has went crazy over."

Cor: (sighing) "Well, folks, as expected, the internet has erupted with reactions to Rogue Retribution's surprise live stream. But here's where things get a bit... weird. It seems a sizable portion of the internet has taken quite the liking to Alex's waifu squad, to put it mildly."

The C shares the screen, revealing tweets and comments that range from fawning adoration to downright inappropriate remarks.

C: (raised eyebrow) "I mean, look at this, folks. Some people are treating these characters like they're real-life celebrities, showering them with love, and I'm talking about more than just fan art here. Can't we keep things respectful, guys? I mean this is past pornstars and celebrities these girls are cold killers!"

The C chuckles, shaking their head.

Commentator: "It's not every day you see a fictional squad of 'waifus' that are killers get this kind of attention. Now, let's focus on the substance of Rogue Retribution's message and what their actions mean for society. But come on, internet, let's try to keep it together."

Agent Smith and Agent Jenkins are reviewing the broadcast and gathering information.

Agent Smith: "This is unprecedented, Jenkins. We need to dig deeper, find out who these people are, and what they're capable of. If they're a threat, we can't afford to underestimate them."

Agent Jenkins: "Agreed, Smith. This is no ordinary situation. Their abilities, their knowledge, and the extent of their organization... it's all remarkable."

The world was reacting to Alex's passionate speech, but no one truly knew what lay ahead. Rogue Retribution had declared itself to be a force of change, and now, the world would have to reckon with their existence.
