Chapter 26 - Outing

Drake told them his plan, "There'll be an attack around next week. And I don't want any of you to get hurt."

He already opened his card for his next action. If both of the men were going to spill all of it, everything would fall apart. "I need none of you to tell the other of what I was going to inform. If you can handle that, I'm going to appreciate it. But if not, I'll leave right away and do my planning like that without considering the student here."

Broon's face was slightly changed when he understood how this was going to be. The student, and their family could get affected if he didn't cooperate with the man.

He looked at Drake, asking his identities. "Who are you? I'm not going to tell anyone about what I heard. But I need more of your information so I can trust my people to you."

Brood and victor, of course realized what Drake did was a threat. But knowing how he could heal the poison, there was no other choice. People like him could be the way out for them. Under Sora Union was bad, and Drake couldn't be worse than them.

Drake pulled out a badge, it was clearly a badge from Samoa as the falcon was sculpted there.

"Samoa?" Victor took the badge, examining it. There was so much outside and private organization, but how came Drake coming from a criminal gang. He was doubting his father's decision if they wanted to join him.

"I've met Marven," Broon said to his son as he saw the doubt on his face. "Believe me, they could be criminals, but they didn't eat their family."

That was literally true, Drake thought. Until now, the region that was under Sora Union, never once felt like they were family. Sora Union always put the barrier as they were superior, only a skilled Sora could join them. Their pride was way high above their head.

Actually he was hesitant to bring the Samoa name. But it was better than saying he came from a random region. There's no way these people would believe him. "My aim was to work with this region. But I definitely can't do that if Sora Union keep roaming around."

"Then.. there'll be a lot of destruction after the fight right?" Victor muttered.

Drake nodded, "That can happen, but I will fix everything that is broken. I will rebuild the academy and this town government system, of course you as the leader will help me to make it happen."

"What should we do then?" Broon asked.

Drake tapped his shoulder, "Your important job is to keep the students away so they don't get in my way."

"Leave them to me," Victor said.

Drake then went back to the place before dawn. He was planning the attack with Marven and the boys.

He too, kept sending a message using the dove to Broon. He needed the update from the situation there. Bedero was bigger than West Zone, as he spied the area the night before, the guards on duty were a lot more. And not only that, Bedero also had Bismouth User the Sora Union hired, like Victor.

"How's that old man saying?" Marven said. He'd seen the dean one or two times. But just that.

Drake scrolled back the tinny paper that he took from the dove's leg. "There will be an outing. For the Academy."

"Outing?" Marven asked curiously.

Drake nodded, Broon and Victor were planning to hold the outing outside, far away near the forest. That would be the best time to ambush the town. "We'll attack the town that time. Broon will make sure there'll be no barriers or students from the academy that will stop us. Half of the guards were with them also."

"Wah.. if that was true, Broon really made a difficult choice. It was not easy to let the student out. How the hell did he persuade them? Who was the leader of the Sora Tower there again?" Ash asked, muttering his mind.

"It's Hanilia," Marven answered him as he hit his head, "I told you to remember that name!"

"Ouch!" Ash grabbed his head, squirming on his seat. He was holding the pain on his head. His master power was real when he launched it.

Drake could only shake his head seeing both of them. He was also curious how Broon made it happen.

He thought it must not be easy, and how right he was. Broon at his office right now, was in cold sweat as Hanilia barged inside. "Our dean," the woman looked down at Broon. Her eyes were sharp and full of vile. For a leader, Hanilia was known for her odious behavior.

She was a short ugly middle aged woman. Her face was so unfriendly, a mirror to her character. Not even once, the woman looked at the other people right. Though Broon was the dean in that academy, Hanilia was always looking down on him, making sure everyone knew he was always under her.

"Don't you have an explanation for me?" Hanilia said

Broon cleared his throat, trying to look calm. "You want more skilled students right?"

Hanilia eyed him, saying nothing but frowning.

Broon continued with his words, "There will be a test on the second day, I will choose some of them and give them to your care."

Hearing that, Hanilia smirked, she was somehow satisfied with what Broon just said. She liked the idea of him making the student enter the test. "I want the best of the best then , But.. " She deepened her frown. "Why must it be outside? And why do you change your mind?"

This was the question he was expecting. "You know, the parents ask for a possible job after their children graduate. We commoners had less chance to enter the green zone area, which is full of nobles and knights."

Hanilia somehow was persuaded with his answer. She was so confident that she thought people in this poor town needed her so much so the children could change their life.

Broon explained more, "I need to do it outside, since there will be a test for their energy. We need more natural resources."

That woman widened her smirk. Yes, she needed it. She needed those big energies. "Oh Dean, why does this idea just appear right now?" She chuckles.

"Well…" Broon gulped down his saliva as he tried to tap down his fear.

"It's fine, you have a limited brain anyway." Hanilia bat away what he was about going to say.

Broon finally could breathe properly after that woman got out of his office. He rubbed his chest, as he prayed Drake would keep his promises to kick out the Sora Union from Bedero. "Deity.. Let the right happen.." He whispered.

The days after, Broon and the other professor brought the student out. He hoped that with everything he had planned, they could finally get out of this situation. "How many students are with us right now?" He asked one of his subordinates.

"Sir, it's around 200 of them and 10 professors. We've told the others that were unable to join us, have to stay in the assignment lab."

"Victor was with them, right?" Broon muttered, his son promised to keep the others safe. As he too, was done with the Sora Union.

Every time Broon had the reaction because of the poison effect, Victor always cursed them, and deep down, he was having so much grudge towards them. So when Drake gave the light to come out of this situation, Victor was the first person that was so eager to wipe them out.

"Let's go!" Broon ordered.

At the same time when the light of the sun was so bright, Drake was bandaging his hand, as he tied up his shoes. Behind them was his inner circle team, His Sword Master, Ash, Delaney, Lara, and Faryal. "Get going!" He ordered.
