Slimey Surprise

When he woke up the next morning he found the skeletons standing staring at him. When he saw them first he jumped up in surprise.

"Oh sh** I know that goddess said that I have a dungeon core and not a heart but still I feel like I just had a heart attack".

He looked at the expansion and found that the skeletons had finished. He took them to the end of the dungeon and got them expanding it to the right side. The dungeon was now 50ft long by 10ft wide going straight.

He wanted to make an expansion to the right end of the dungeon for about 20 feet deep by 10ft wide. If anyone ever got in then he didn't want them to simply have to walk straight and find him. His plans were to make it confusing to navigate since he could just find his way with the map.

After the skeletons got started he checked his status board.

After he looked he sighed "It looks like today I only have enough to be able to buy the water sprite and to split the port between them".

He went to the shop and purchased the water sprite for 50 sp. Then a small spirit girl appeared, she was about the size of a pencil.

"Can you speak?" he asked

She nodded her head and then smiled at him. He asked her to follow him and he stopped in front of the cages. He used his ability to mold the walls and he created an opening with a box that was 5' long.

He began to get the scent of dung again so he closed the opening and asked the slime to clean the cages again. This time when the slime entered the beasts just stayed still as it began to clean the floor and then their fur.

When the slime was done, he placed the pork inside the cage and opened the small opening for the water sprite to fill the box with water.

When it was done he decided to leave the opening so that the beasts could see what was going on around them.

After he had solved the hygiene and water issue he had nothing else to do which drove him nuts. He really wanted to be able to go outside but like he always reminded himself he couldn't do it until he had enough power and SP so that the could buy anything he needed when the moment arrived.

He began to store the stones the skeletons had mined when they were expanding the width. He was so bored that he began to look at the store and see what things were available for him to spend his time. At the moment he didn't have any SP but he could at least plan on the solution for his boredom.

In the end, he only found some things that he could purchase that he was able to afford. He figured that the next way to spend his time is to train with weapons. He had no idea what could happen in the future so he had to make sure that he was at least ready.

At the moment the only weapon that he had available to him were the 2 swords from the 2 skeletons that were mining. He began practicing his techniques for a few hours when he was losing interest he remembered about the 3rd skeleton that wasn't doing anything at the moment.

He looked at it and ordered, "Come here and attack me at half strength and speed".

Tyler wasn't stupid, he had never been to combat. The other thing that worried him is that he didn't know the strength of the skeleton either so he was a bit worried.

When he made the first swing the skeleton met it and as soon as the swords collided the sword from the skeleton flew from its hands. Tyler was shocked by the amount of power he might possess.

He pointed at the sword and pointed "Pick it up and attack me with full power and speed". He also made sure that he used half of his power and speed. They finally could begin to spar, even if he was holding back he was able to gain combat experience.

After a few hours of practicing with the skeleton, he suddenly felt a tug on his pants and found the slime. When he looked at it the slime went up to the skeleton and seemed to fuse. The skeleton was still a skeleton but now it had a blue membrane with a core on behind its spine.

He was surprised but then he was interrupted when the slime/skeleton began charging at him. The skeleton seemed to be faster and as soon and more agile as it began to fake attacks. He could still beat it if he used his full power and speed but he was scared of killing two of his monsters.

After a while, he began to get used to the attacks but as soon as he began to get confident he saw a sharp blue tentacle come from the skeleton grazing his face.

When he saw this he couldn't help but freeze "Oh sh**, this is too advanced". He ran away and then looked at the skeleton and the slime and yelled: "Stop that enough for today thank you".

The slime separated from the skeleton and walked towards Tyler's leg and began to rub towards it affectionately. He looked at it and smiled "Hey little guy is it possible that next time you could slow the speed of your spear like tentacles".

The slime only jumped up and down. Tyler sighed "well then I'll take that as a yes if you excuse me I'm a little tired at the moment".

He went to a corner since he couldn't go to his room since the skeletons were mining there at the moment. He laid down looking pale as hell "That little guy is way too strong to be worth only 50 points, who knows maybe I could buy more skeletons and slimes so that they can fuse like that in the future".
