Chapter 5: Inner demons

As Strat woke up from his sleep from last night he got up and went to find the bathroom to get himself ready. Once he was out, he was fresh and clean. Then he went towards little David to see if he was still asleep or awake.

As he came closer towards the crib, he noticed that David was awake and drinking milk. He didn't remember giving him milk. Then it struck him. The robot he fixed might be the one responsible for this. Strat was relieved that the robot was working.

He went closer and slowly brought David closer to his chest. He looked at David to see if he needed to change anything, but he was still good. He slowly brought David down to his crib and gently left him there.

As soon as Strat left David he went towards the door and aggressively opened it. He went outside to start training for the upcoming battle or revenge as he called it.

But as soon as he did some stretches, he immediately got a message that said, " Change of plans kid. The mission starts now. Their 3 miles out from your location. So, get ready for them!"

Strat looked pissed when he saw it.

" For fucks sake I just barely woke up and they started coming. I'll give those fuckers a piece of my mind." Said Strat with an aggressive tone.

He immediately notified the robot that they were coming. Strat's pupils went to a darker color to indicate that he was notifying the robot to protect David.

The robot responded with " My pleasure Master."

Strat immediately ran towards one of the buildings near the entrance to the town and entered the building.

As he entered, he looked around to see where the stairs were. When he found them, he ran towards them and then went through the nearest window as he arrived up the stairs. Since they were the closest to the rooftop, he swished through the window and finally, he was on the rooftop. When he came on the roof, he saw them in the distance which meant they were near his location. So, he went and laid on the rooftop, so he didn't get noticed. Strat thought that he should stay here until it was nighttime.

So, he waited until the pitch-black night to come. During the wait, he was worried for the little David.

" I'll give him some extra food when I get to him." Thought Strat.

But as he finished his thought Strat slowly put on his mask which was shaped like a skull with the colors black and crimson. Afterward, he tapped his chest then gooey black liquid came out and wrapped his whole body. As soon as the liquid settled a new outfit appeared on Strat that made him look like an assassin. He then walked forward slowly to the edge to check if there was anyone nearby.

" Strat I'll tell you how many enemies are here in the area."

" Use this information wisely Strat. Have some fun with your revenge!"

Strat understood the information that was said and immediately went to work. " Wait.... Where the hell is my phone." He immediately went through his pockets to find it and then he felt a bulge. Strat went towards it and then proceeded to pull it out and it was his phone. He typed in his password went to his playlist then pressed play.

The song One Step Closer by Linkin Park started to play. Afterward, he then proceeded to jump off and start his killing. He first went towards slowly towards the back of his enemy and pushed the button to release his blades. Then he immediately slashed his first kill. But to his surprise it was a decoy then all of a sudden Strat was shot in the stomach.

Bang! The shot alerted everyone in the area." Motherfucker who the fuck shot me!" Said Strat with a pain-filled voice. He turned around as fast as he could then he spotted a person. He then proceeded to activate one of his new inventions which he named " Reapers Time" or RT for short.

Once he activated it time slowed down to the point no one moved except for him. Strat then proceeded to move forward toward the person that shot him. When he was right in front of them he pulled out his gun that he had on his leg and proceeded to shoot the hell out of him. As his time was up everything that was still now was moving. Once it had ended something then snapped in Strat's head. All of a sudden everyone who heard the shots from before came towards Strat's spot. Once they spotted Strat, they immediately went towards him and raised their guns towards him. Strat lowered his head.

When he did the same smile, he had when he killed the officers in the past. Afterwards, he started to laugh profoundly." Ha...Ha..Ha..HAHAHAHHA! YOU THINK YOU CAN KILL ME! THINK AGAIN YOU DUMB FUCKING IDIOTS!!" Said Strat annoyed. He immediately started to get out guns that weren't on him before and proceeded to kill everyone near him. "HAHAHAHA! I KILL YOU THEN YOU!" He said while turning around to kill each person horribly.

The screams of each person he killed were refreshing to his ears.

" MAN, IT FEELS GOOD TO DO THIS AGAIN!" Said Strat in a relieved manner.

Strat then proceeded to activate RT to optimize his experience. Everything was paused immediately. Strat ran around and started shooting everyone and slashing them also with his still deployed blades. He had activated his cybernetics multiple times which caused some issues to occur. But once his time was up Strat immediately started to throw up an immense amount of blood.

Which was caused by the damage and side effects of the cybernetic he had attached to his spine. But for Strat, he didn't care about the side effects since It was the people that got killed here. But as Strat stopped throwing up blood, he looked around to see if there was anyone's left. But the only thing he saw was the intestines, brain matter, and blood splatter everywhere.

Then Strat fell to his knees and said," May the people who died in this location rest in peace."

Strat realized that he had forgotten about the sand cat. So, he went and got the first companion then let him go into the wild because he knew he wasn't fit to be the cat's owner. As soon as Strat did, he went to the building where David was in and slowly picked up David, so he doesn't wake him up. The kid looked peaceful when he was asleep.

By the face of David Strat made a cheerful smile and laughed a little. Then he remembered his phone and checked for it. A disappointed face came over since the phone was broken. But he just threw it near the scrap metal piles. As soon as he did Strat went to his couch near David and fell asleep immediately on impact.
