Reborn At The Bottom

A young boy around the age of 8-9 was hitting a big rock with a pickaxe while around him there were thousands of people all ages doing the same with people looking at them from large towers.

Suddenly the young boy stopped and almost fell before he even reacted he got hit with a whip and screamt at "What are you doing trying to stop working do you have a death wish!" the boy reacted fast and said "im sorry ill get back to work" everyone glanced at him but went back thinking the young boy probably cant last much longer.

When everyone looked away a malicious glint passed in his eyes then disapperad the boy went back to the rock and started hitting it with great difficulty, later that day when the sun started going down a person said "alright go back to the barracks you filth" everyone dispersed and went to their barracks.

As everyone went to sleep and silence descended and the young boy starts to think.

Damm this body is bad but its not unsolvable from this persons memories i got reincarnated to a world called the divided world since its divided to 4 different continents and 4 major powers.

Apparently these powers have lasted since the beginning of the world and they have cultivation techniques if you reach a certain level you can ascend and everyone wants to ascend.

If you don't have a big backing you can only cultivate body techniques but everyone with high talent gets roped into the big powers this body has a low talent and can only reach level 4 at the highest in the future.

Naturally there's a faster way natural treasures his plan is to escape and reach the for the higher realms however this requires time before this child just waited for death now im gonna cultivate instead of waste time.

The days pass as the young boy named Klein in this world cultivated at night mined at the day and stole peoples food to make sure his body makes enough natural energy.

From Kleins memories there's only one possible escape if he becomes a level 2 cultivator they will sense it and send him to a higher level slave farm since they only have 5 level two at this camp at this time 3 level 1 and 1 level 2 will transport him in a metal cage this is the only chance he has.

Klein was no amateur in killing or escaping but he didn't know how good the guard here were so naturally preparations had to be done the best choice would naturally be to escape without a battle but that was nigh impossible.

Months passed and winter came it was hard weather to work in every night Klein cultivated and 2 months ago a rumor started spreading that there was a food thief the guards investigated but nothing came up.

Klein watched a few slaves cultivate to a higher level and came to the conclusion that every time someone got transported it was by a middle aged man who wasn't that strong.

looking at the manual Klein smiled.

Although they don't mention it in this manual when you reach level two you refine your muscles with natural energy (its the same as hardening) but since you cant refine it all at one time you refine it in stages.

Now all i have to do is save up a lot of natural energy and then later use all of it at once to refine a little bit higher then just breaking through if i can save enough i would put that man at the lowest stage and me at the middle stage if i have enough energy.

But i cant underestimate the difficulty if the low talent could be divided id probably be in the middle and that means its harder for me to break through and way harder to use that idea.

I would probably need more than 10x the energy than a middle stage talent would. it would take years to get that and in that time there's a high chance i could die.

And that leaves me with only one option there's a rumor that Yang Bin was a high level body cultivator until he was crippled and captured, naturally if he can teach me something i might have a chance but its risky who knows what hes gonna teach me.

Naturally at a camp like this the guards want to pocket more money so they sell things to the slaves and everyone gets a cut, of course the slaves cant get money so the only way for them to do it is that you pour your natural energy into a item which when full they can sell to sects/dynasties.

As long as you give enough they can sell you anything of course i cant buy everything i need in a row i need to put it with other stuff.

In a building you can see a line of people who are dressed raggedly and look dirty at the front you can hear a man say "if you aren't going to buy anything go away" with a annoyed face.

After a while the MC Klein reaches the front and says "one pillow and one table please sir" the man looks a little satisfied "Finally a boy with a little manners, put your hand at the orb"

Klein does as the man said and feels his natural energy leave his body into the orb after a while it stops and the man gives him his items and waves his hand at him, Klein stays silent and moves away.

At his barrack he hides his items sighs and then starts cultivating.

Alright although he didn't take much he didn't take little either although its not a cheap price i should be able to afford everything without to much of a loss, alright time to sleep since tomorrow i need to investigate.
