Chapter 29: Train To Nowhere

Ambrose

Ambrose greeted the day with a bright and sunny disposition! He walked towards the Academy's gates and waited as more and more people started to gather. He could feel the piercing gazes of the students from the other class as he passed them.

"Why are they here?"

"I bet they won't even understand anything in the lab", they whispered amongst each other.

If it was any other day, his blood would have been boiling at the comment, but not today. No, there was something more important he had to do today.

The academy was a "locked" school, once the school year started, students were only allowed to leave the campus twice, during Christmas break and summer break. Of course, field trips and research internships were the only exemptions. The school board insists that this is so they can focus solely on their studies without any outside distractions. Ambrose thought it was like prison.
