"My Guardian Angel"
As I called out Helios, a giant fire ball appeared in front of me, then it shaped into the form of a young light skinned man who looked like he was in his twenties. He had dark hair and yellow light eyes, and a clean shave and pink lips stood in front of me. He wore a crimson red suit with dark gloves, and stared down at me in disgust. He held up my chin and looked in my eyes and said;" so the brat I gave my powers to seven years ago finally decides to call". I looked at him from were I sat completely frozen, unable to move my body at all. He walked round the room a few times, not even paying me any mind, then walked towards me with a dead look in his eyes with his hands around his back. I got up and grabbed a sword lying at the corner of the room and took a stance. As he got within a few centimeters within the swords reach, I closed my eyes and took a swing with all my might. The sword came to a stop as Helios had stopped the blade with two fingers I opened my eyes in shock and began shaking from head to toe, then he leaned closer to me with the sword still in between his fingers, I brased myself for a quick death and closed my eyes. After a few moments I opened my eyes and examined my body for any wounds, then a voice came from the direction of my bed; "relax kid I didn't attack you or curse you or anything like that" as he took a bite from an apple that was on a tray of fruits next to my bed. He kept staring at me for several minutes as I stood there looking at him with the sword still in my hands visibly shaking from the events that had just transpired. I griped tightly on the sword and prepared to drive it into his heart, something just didn't feel right with him. He got up from the bed, took another apple from the tray and walked towards the window, I saw this as my chance since he wasn't looking and was about to leap on him, and without even looking at me he said;"I wouldn't try that if I were you" , then took another bite from the apple. He stared down at the people outside as they ran around preparing for the ceremony. He turned around, looked at me and said; "care for one" . My knees immediately gave out and I collapsed on the floor, before I lost consciousness, Helios let out a chuckle.
I woke up a few hours later in my bed with a sharp pain in my head, I looked around and saw Helios sitting on a chair across the room while drinking a glass of wine. "So you are awake" he said as he crossed his legs and looked at me with a smirk on his face. "Don't give me that look now, you're the one who attacked me with that sword of yours, not like that did you any good", I sat up from the bed and looked at him as walked towards me with the bottle in his hand "speak up kid, or did I scare you too much" he asked as he stood over me. He reached out his hand and the chair appeared under him as he took a seat next to me. He looked into my eyes again and said "you can't use magic can you? and judging by the way you swung that sword like a wounded animal I'm guessing you can't even fight" I turned my gaze away in order not to make eye contact with him, I didn't answer any of his questions and just stared at him "come on say something this is starting to feel like I'm talking to myself now", I got up from the bed and asked; "just what the devil are you", he smiled, got up and said; "your guardian angel"
"Guardian angel my ass you almost killed me" I said as Helios walked in circles around the room singing an inaudible tune.
"No, you attacked me first and I just defended myself, you should be grateful I didn't snap your neck you stupid brat". He said while going through my clothes." So what do you what".
"Excuse me"? I said shakily, still feeling uneasy. "You called me didn't you, so what do you want" he asked once again.
"Er I don't remember, I seem to have forgotten" He stopped looking through my clothes and slowly started walking towards me and said; "so you mean to tell me you had no reason whatsoever and just called!". Y- Yes" I said as he was standing directly in my face. He took a step back and put his hand on his forehead, "this is what I get for giving powers to a newly born soul while I was drunk". "Wait what" I blurted out.
"Oops it seems like I've said too much, well that's enough chit-chat for today" he said and looked towards the window. I stood there looking at him with mixed feelings of confusion and curiosity. Helios turned and stared at me and said; "Well I can't get out of this one now can I". He said then placed his arm on my shoulder "I've taken a liking to you so I'll help you I'm going to teach you a few things and probably stick around for a while. So why don't you just go on and meet your faithful subjects your maid is already at the door, when your done just call me I've got nothing better going on" As I tried to say something, Helios burst into flames and disappeared then, Sylvia opened the door almost immediately and said; "Young master it's time His Highness request your presence". "I'll be there in a minute" and rushed to meet Sylvia at the door. "Are you nervous young master" Sylvia asked with a concerned look on her face. I smiled and said nothing, and just kept thinking to myself "what on earth is going on".
