The End of the Guildmaster

Paul's mouth hung agape as he stared at the shocking scene before him. He was completely bewildered.

Sariel had defeated Jeremy!

He hadn't thought it possible to begin with which was why he hadn't considered it a factor at all.

Jeremy's defeat now nailed the coffin for Paul.

Meanwhile  Sariel stood in the center, catching her breath, a victorious yet conflicted look on her face.

She had a feeling that Jeremy was just enjoying himself but she wasn't sure of how he felt losing to her.

She saw his expression where he laid and knew that he was alright with how things had gone. She had just been overthinking things.

Outside the ring, Jeremy pushed himself up, wiping the dirt from his face with a chuckle.

"Well, that was exhilarating," he said, his voice filled with genuine amusement. "You've definitely earned your reward, Sariel. You bested me."
