Just as Cuniculus took his first step…
Badump
The dome of suppression, previously invisible, suddenly appears, its boundary only an Inch away from Cuniculus.
The barrier glows in a blood-red hue, strange runic patterns swirl on its surface like snakes.
Crackle, crunch, crunch
As Cuniculus continues to watch, the dome collapses in on itself.
The dirt, the trees, the ground, the space, everything vanishes into nothingness.
Before him is a dark void, as Cuniculus stares at the void, he feels as if someone or something is staring back at him. Wiping away his cold sweat, Cuniculus proceeds towards the city, this time with a quicker stride.

As I watch the strange demon travel further and further away from the collapsed space, a sense of struggle overwhelms me as I'm unable to decide whether or not to notify my children.
Normally, after feeling the aura of a demon general or above from a child disobedient enough to venture into my breeding ground, I'd immediately have one of my five eldest punish that child… but, something within that child strikes fear within me.
Hesitating, I decide to refrain from informing my eldest children for now. Placing my mark on that child, I'll resort to keeping an eye on him.
With that, my consciousness submerges into a deep slumber. Only a remnant of my will is left awake, constantly scanning my mark for abnormalities.

[Congratulations to the host for receiving the blessing of the abyss]
[Abyssl blessing:
corruption affinity + 786%
Luck - 237%]
After spending some time thinking, Caeruleum already with a vague outline of his future plans, calmly reads the panel.
Hmm, mentally raising his brow, Caeruleum struggles to understand the situation. When did I receive this blessing? Although, he isn't really complaining about the increased corruption affinity.
[Inventory
Currency: Souls 0 | Energy 4,127]
[Absorption rate: 78,396 -> 618,550 per beat]
The increased energy will speed up his plans greatly but…
Luck - 237%, what the f*ck is that supposed to mean?
[Host, demons are incarnations of everything negative. The lower a demon's luck, the more calamities and destruction a demon can bring to an invaded world.]
[Please purchase the nullify skill to remove the blessing]
Ignoring the final notification, Caeruleum resumes adding details to his plan whilst going over the system capabilities.
Respawn, his initial conjecture about how respawning works is now verified, the only additional input is that purchasing destructive skills from the shop and using them on himself will only result in damage, not death. Right before he dies from a skill, he will be placed in a state of invulnerability. While in that state, all negative afflictions will be removed and his health will be automatically increased at a rate of 1% per second. The invulnerable state will disappear once his health reaches 100%. Just thinking of the many unique ways to exploit such a feature makes Caeruleum's soul tremble in excitement.

Feeling the soul of this original body tremble as if attempting to break away from his control, Cuniculus frowns, then lets out a scoff at the futile struggle.

Unaware of Cuniculus's thoughts, Caeruleum continues with his analysis.
Shop, currently the most useful function discovered, is capable of providing him with a myriad of skills. Each skill has remarkable features, and their effects are extremely simple, so simple that it's completely broken. For example…
[Cut: gives the host the ability to cut]
At first, Caeruleum thought the system was taking him for a fool, but after further analysis. He became dumbfounded at the skill's actual effect.
With the 'Cut' skill, he's able to sever anything, demons, objects, and the most ridiculous of all, concepts. Whether it's time, strength, fatigue, afflictions, reality, etc. the only cost being energy points. The higher your proficiency with the skill, the fewer energy points it costs. At the highest proficiency, he can cut the entire abyss into two.
Next is 'inventory,' which is capable of storing anything weaker than the system. This brought out the question, at what level is the system?
[Warning, the hos…
Not paying attention to the panel, which will likely display some bulls*it about authority followed by some 'error' crap, Caeruleum proceeds to the next feature, status.
Status is the most reasonable feature. It simply displays his current bodily state. However, looking at the exaggerated effects of shop, inventory, and the final feature, load new world, which needs no introduction, Caeruleum finds it hard to believe that the function of status is so simple.
Frowning, an uncomfortable feeling wells up. The more broken he finds the system to be, the stronger the off-feeling becomes. Attempting to take his mind off those troublesome thoughts, Caeruleum stares at his current energy points.
Anyway, for now, he can continue to rely on the system. After all, he can be sure that as suspicious and annoying as it is, at most, the system wants to use him to fulfill some ridiculous goal like resurrecting some all-mighty or maybe taking over his body like that hateful rabbit, though, he doubts the latter situation would occur.
Whatever the system's plans are, Caeruleum could care less, he's technically supposed to be dead anyway, and it's not like he's too enthusiastic about being here, as novel as this world might be.
Click
As soon as that thought comes up, something clicks causing Caeruleum to feel like he is getting closer and closer to the answer.
Frowning at not receiving any new revelations, Caeruleum puts those thoughts aside and continues stares at his increasing energy points. He needs to wait patiently for him to accumulate 7.6 million energy points for his plan to begin.

While Caeruleum is wrapping up his ideas, Cuniculus arrives at the city, Mokrail City.
ok, I’ve found a problem, in the last chapter Caeruleum soul was described as a mid-level demon’s soul, but in chapter 6 Caeruleum was said to still be a low level demon.
there are 2 ways to fix this.
1.) go back and change it.
(Honest to god, I don’t wanna do that)
2.) later down the line, remember how the rabbit became a complete lord after taking over Caeruleum, well I can play with that idea a little, and somewhere in there, cook up something
anyway it’s whatever
let me know if anyone got any better ideas.
sword out ✌️
