47. Their Chosen Rewards

Watching the teacher leave, the three groups looked at each other. Krakow was the first to speak, "That stupid teacher doesn't know that I'm the strongest here. If it weren't for having weak team members, I would have come first!" He turned around and stormed off. The others followed, although Calie did shoot a wistful look at Zion and a glare at Sarah before following him.

Sarah just shook her head, and Zion sighed softly. They then turned their heads, hearing the others' approach. David had short brown hair cut close to his head on the sides but longer at the front and had gentle hazel eyes.

He smiled at them, "I'm David Wogan. I was surprised to see your group reach second place. Congratulations." He held his hand out to Sarah.

She adopted her usual slightly cold appearance but reached out her hand and shook his, "Thank you, but it was all of us working together that allowed us to get so far."
