Hastily, he took out his hand while peeking at her revolted and disgusted.
From that moment, he realised that she's not his wife anymore. A woman who was once simple and conscious with herself turned to be one of the thousands of infected people.
"You are not my wife, "
He murmured.
The woman snarled and hastily jumped into the man's chest. Both of them stumbled and fall into the ground.
The man attempted to protect himself from the undead but he remembered that he has no weapon to wring around its neck.
Out of nowhere, Alice shrieked out. "Save your life than your love!"
Carried by the power of sentiments, he whacked the undead's head and turned his back, striving to run as fast as he could. Away from her, away from the woman he loved.
"Forgive me,"
He mumbled upon grabbing the bamboo spear from the ground. With tears on his eyes, he throws it to the undead without a doubt.
