Before the release
"Vogue" made a big splash in North America with sales of about 290 k magezine. As for the next month, "Vogue" has tired to mantain this trend by inviting the Oscar queen this time. They have made Julia Roberts the cover of next month.
Amy herself has recieved huge benefits from the magezine cover. In just a month, her popularity has soared countless times. There are thousands of people contacting "Vogue" and asking about Amy everyday. They want to know about her and her works. Amy even received a cooperation opportunity with Michael Kors for two years. This is a huge honor for a newcomer to receive a cooperation from a luxury brand just after the debut. Amy wanted to accept the offer immediately, but Richard stopped her and told to wait till the movie's release.
Now Amy's all focus is on her movie "Legally Blonde's" debut which is just around the corner.
July is a summer season for blockbuster movies. According to Amy's knowledge, there are a lot of blockbusters going to be released this summer. The box office of "Sherk" has already crossed over 400 million $ in the box office, and is one of the hottest contenders for this year's box office champion. "The Mummy Returns" on May 22 and "Tomb raider" on June 6 were also big hits.
The biggest threat to "Legally blonde" is not these, but is "Jurassic Park 3". Although the third part is not directed by Steven Spielberg, but the franchise has a lot of loyal fans.
On July 13, "Legally blonde" was premiered at El Captain theater in Los Angeles. This time Amy wore a red Versace dress with barer shoulders and strips on the arms. Two centimeter high heels made her height increase from 1.62 m to 1.64 m.
This time the hype of movie was much higher than the previous time and Amy was also not as nervous as before.
The interview was conducted in a harmonious way. The reporters doesn't make things usually difficult at the premiere, but if a movie is determined as a bad movie after its release, then they won't spare ink to splash the movie.
Suddenly, a reporter's voice caught Amy's attention.
"Amy how do you compare "Legally Blonde" to the Angelina Jolie's "Tom Raider". It has also achieved a great success."
When Amy saw the badge on reporter's body, she was not surprised that the reporter asked this question. "National Enquirer" seems to be always worried that the world will not be chaotic.
Amy was calm and didn't freak out at the question, "Then you must tell me the name and channel of reporter. I will thank him personally for such a compliment."
All the surrounding reporters laughed a little. They all knew that it was made up by National Enquirer. But seeing the reporter's red face, they all were sneering and gloting in their heads.
"Your dress looks very beautiful Amy." another reporter complimented.
"Thank you. I was really worried that red might not suit me. But it seems to be okay."
"Of course, you look the most beautiful."
"Thank you." Amy laughed aa little and thanked for the compliment. After that, the interview was easy and no difficult question was asked.
After the interview, the film was officially releaserd.
Amy sat between the producer Marc Platt and Director Robert Luketic, both of them had serious expressions on their faces. They were far more nervous than her. She believes that if it hadn't been for the reporters present, otherwise these two gentlemen might have slipped. It is the first feature film of Director Luketic and is very important for his career. It would affect him badly if something goes wrong with the movie. As for Mac Platt, he also has to worry about the box office of movie.
Despite all this, they still greeted Amy with smiles on their faces, "You did a good job."
They are very satisfied with Amy's way of handling the reporters. Sometimes newcomer cannot control themselves and say something impulsive which affects them later. Is is especially in the case of women. Women cannot stand comparing themselves to others.
Admist of all this, the lights of the theater started to dim and the light of projecter increased. The movie started.
