At the office canteen during lunch.At a table

"I heard the newly appointed secretary didn't have any formal education." CEO's IT expert, Stacy said to a group of people sitting in front of her.

PR manager Michael was one of them, hearing this he was surprised

"Really, then how did she get that job"

"She might have seduced Ms. Brown." the technical manager Yelena said.

"Yes, that might be the case. Otherwise, how is she going to get the job than other qualified people." Alexandria commented. She was the website manager of the brown industry."

"I don't care how she got the job. She is very beautiful though." Michael replied.

Hearing this Stacy got impatient. She had a long-time crush on Michael. She didn't want her crush to ogle some other girl than her.

"I think she bewitched every man here.No doubt, why our usually cold Mr. Brown is seduced by her"

Like this while, Avalina entered the canteen with Aleena all the tables were discussing her.

"Don't mind them. Soon they will recognize your talent" Aleena was genuinely worried for her.

"Thanks, but I don't think they are worth my time to consider" Aleena was surprised by her attitude. It was not a response that she expected from a seemingly weak and humble person. She started to like her even more.

Avalina tried to make more and more contact with Antonia but she failed. Avalina thought that she had to hatch a new plan to get close to Antonia.

Night, at Oliver's flat

Oliver and Ava were having take-Away dinner.

"I heard you are doing pretty well from Aleena," Oliver said.

"Really she said so."Avalina showed him a surprised and excited face, but deep down she was not at all surprised. Today what she showed was not even 10 percent of her full potential. She had years of experience in managing Facci. Along with that her other companies like White agency and Olena Holdings were doing very well.

"Like this, it won't even take you even a week to completely take over the secretary job."

"Well Mr. Brown complements without gifts looks shallow." She said giving him a mischievous smile and then began to do the dishes.

From the table, Oliver looked at her for a while. He saw her wearing a blue Brianna petite printed maxi dress with her smooth brownish black hair reaching just above her waist. The dress was perfectly complimenting her hourglass body. He then went near her and placed his plate near the sink and stood beside her.

He then looked at her face. Without any bruises, her face looked very beautiful. His heart skipped a beat. He really wanted to get close to her and kiss her but he controlled himself. He was a gentleman and moreover an engaged man. He didn't want to lose the respect Ava has for him.

Avalina realized his stare and turned to him. She saw his handsome face with a perfect muscular body. She admitted that she was a bit attracted to him. She wanted to continue ogling but she controlled herself and asked.

"Oliver why are you looking at me".

Her question brought him back to reality. He realized that he ogled her for a long time. He soon tried to change the topic.

"You wanted a gift right, I will do the dishes you take rest." He gave her a smile and pulled the dish from her hand

Avalina was surprised at his sudden strange behavior.

"No! I can't let my boss do my job. " She pouted while pulling it back.

"I am your boss at the office not at home. Here you can consider me as your friend. Moreover, we are living together. I too have a responsibility to help you"

After some time Avalina reluctantly gave up. She started to feel that Oliver is starting to behave too nicely toward her. As he was washing the dishes he remembered something.

"I saw, you are very shy and submissive towards Antonia. I know you respect her for being a Stone but you don't need to boost her ego even more. I know, Ava you are a kind and humble person but Antonia is not like that, many people are not like that. If you continue being submissive to others they will take advantage of you "

Avalina " ..."

Avalina cant tell him that what she was doing is just a facade. Her aim was to boost her ego and make her lower her guard. This way she wanted to get more close to her.

"Also I heard what our staff are speaking about you. Ignore them it will pass with time. You are new and beautiful so they are just jealous of you."

Avalina was touched by his care for her. She felt a sudden warmth in her heart she wanted to hug him and tell him everything about her but she controlled herself.

Later during a call with Rivaldo

"Don't you think it's kind of weird that Sophia agreed to her daughter marrying Oliver without an issue? Also, Antonia works in the Brown industry instead of Stone . I don't think Sophia is stupid enough to let her daughter work in Brown " Rivaldo raised his observation.

"I do. I came to notice that Brown enterprise is working on a very secret project. It is built in collaboration with Stone. As per my instincts, it must be something that Sophia wants. That must be why she happily allowed her daughter to be here."

"Something is not right. The stone organization is again trying to create for Facci some trouble. I think they are determined to enter the European market. They recently started cosmetics in country D. Also, they have a shipping business like ours. I think we have to act fast." Rivaldo sounded a bit worried. Avalina didn't reassure him instead she asked about Facci's underground organization, Avfacc.

"Brother, how's your training for our country D Avfacc members going."

"We still have very few members. Otherwise, it's going perfectly fine."

"How about our collaboration with the Linqin organization"

"They are not accepting our collaboration. They are too afraid of Stone . Almost every organization here is under the control of Stone ." Like that they discussed for a while. After hanging up, Avalina began to frown.

"Now everything is up to me".

The next Morning Avalina was preparing her first plan to get close to Antonia. She prepared a separate snack box for Antonia and Aleena. She also prepared a box for Aleena to not make her motive too obvious.

She had already made her subordinate inform her when Antonia reaches the Brown enterprise. She entered the lift with her.

"Hi, Ms. Stone what a coincidence we met again in this lift."

Antonia gave her a smile but she did not reply.

"I prepared a snack box for you. It's okay if you don't want but you know it took me a lot of effort to prepare this." She then showed her the package in her hand.

Antonia was touched by her gestures. She really didn't eat in the morning.

"Really! that was very thoughtful of you, Ava. Thanks".Seeing Antonia was genuinely happy Avalina was relieved.

"I will bring the snack box to your cabin. A person of high status like you should never carry items." She then again offered to carry her other items which Antonia happily obliged.

"Can we eat together at lunch? I really want to know my idol." Avalina asked but inside her head, she was muttering 'Idol my foot'.She knew Antonia only love people who always inflate her ego. So she played along.

Antonia was again flattered by her compliments.

"Yes sure," Soon slowly but steadily Avalina started to build her relationship with Antonia.

Staffs at Brown still consider her with disdain but she still ignores it.

As the day progressed she suddenly saw everyone tensed. So she asked Aleena.

"You know Jeny William, Secretary of Ms. Stone "

Avalina nodded

"She made a mistake yesterday and let one of our portals remain open. This led to a hacker attack. The hacker has asked 100 million dollars for the hacked file and given us 5 hours to make a decision."
