Chapter 79 (Practice for Top)(S3)

"I am proud of you, Jiyu." Said Ishan.

"Did you said something?" Asked tired Jiyu because he couldn't hear from his seat.

"Nothing" said Ishan and took his head to desk to relax until Miss Naya arrives the class and start attendance.

"Oi, Ishan, wake up."

Ishan actually slept and Eiro woke him up because Miss Naya has already arrived and doing attendance and Ishan's name was going to come.

The periods started passing smoothly for Jiyu, Aid, Era, Eiro and Cyet without girls and their life became again their paradise.

In the last two periods of school, Ishan with Jiyu, Aid, Era, Eiro and Cyet came to stadium and Yu was already there waiting for them for practice.

"Ok then! Today we will running for a hour and then I will tell about some defense patterns and then we will start practicing playing." Said smiling Yu.

Sara and her teammates were watching Yu as a coach and were a little bit surprised but they continued their practice.

"Jiyu!!! Can't you run more fast?!!!" Yu was shouting on Jiyu with anger that why is he running slowly, everyone else was ahead of them.

"Can't you stop shouting?!" Said Jiyu with now becoming more angry.

"What did you said?! You will now run two rounds more with 5 which everyone is doing!!!" Yu was now becoming more frustrated by Jiyu and punished him with the worse.

"Hey! Stop speaking while running! It's waste of energy." Said smiling Ishan who was running smoothly and at first lead.

"So these are zone defense."

Yu, was now teaching about defense strategies and pattern and boys got to know about them for the first time and were amazed by it.

"So now, we will practice these all strategies in practical."

And boys started performing the same defense strategies which Yu just taught and they were doing well in it.

The evening came and everyone was now already exhausted.

"Good work today. I hope we will keep on improving and perform well in our national tournament. See you all tomorrow." Said Yu and she left.

"Ah... I am sick. Can't we play normally like we used to? Coach was not needed, was it?" Said Jiyu and lied on the ground.

"Without coach we can't enter in Inter High School Basketball tournament. And Yu was the only one who planned for my team for the third quarter in that game. She can't play well but she can guide well." Said Ishan.

"Let's see." Said Jiyu.

And everyone started leaving.

Whereas Yu heard everything about it and was a little bit sad that her work and efforts are useless and now thinks to leave but she can't because if she left, Ishan and his team will not enter in the national tournament this year which will hurt her because she believes that they have a great potential to enter and win.

But calming and making herself normal, she also left.

The days started passing and Yu continued training and guiding Ishan's team and they were improving very well.

Jiyu increased his speed, Era started performing more better in his three points shot, Cyet became the second three points shot because of his height and also improved in his hook attack. Eiro learnt and improved in blocking the basketball and Aid practiced and improved more in passing well to his companions.

And while the days started passing, Ishan, Jiyu, Aid, Era, Eiro and Cyet were becoming more excited for the new matches on another courts with a large audience.

And finally the day arrived and Ishan, Jiyu, Aid, Era, Eiro and Cyet, in their dark blue basketball uniform and jackets with Yu and Miss Naya entered in the bus to go to their first match of Inter High School Basketball Tournament.

The bus driver also entered and the bus started and started moving towards their destination.

Miss Naya was sitting next to Yu and said, "You did a very great job. Thanks for being their coach and guiding them."

"No, no. Don't say thanks to me, it's all their efforts. But I wanna say... That after this tournament, I will leave. Um... Studies are currently more important, so yes." Said Yu with giving a fake smile and lie.

Yu now thinks that Jiyu and everyone thinks about her like she is forcing them to do what they actually don't want in basketball which she feels ashamed but she can't even leave teaching them otherwise they will think that what type of coach is she, it means she is surrounded by both sides so she kept teaching and guiding them until the tournament ends.

"All right, as you wish." Replied Miss Naya although she has already realized that what's Yu thinking.

Whereas, Mister Ken and Sara's team in their bus ran by overtaking Miss Naya's bus. Mister Ken was laughing proudly on seeing them back but it was too much childish, wasn't it?

The both buses came to the today's matches location, in another city and stopped.

All of them started coming out of the buses.

"It's... It's gonna be fun!!!" Shouted Jiyu with joy.

"Calm down, Jiyu. We are not allowed to shout in public." Said Eiro.

"Say thanks to Yu, she has been training us from a month." Said Ishan with a smile on his face.

Jiyu looked at Yu coming out of the bus and said, "It's all our efforts of practicing... Although her training and guidence is something for what I should appreciate her."

"Don't be so rude, she has also put her hours to guide us. I pray not to hear such things from you, Jiyu." Said angry Ishan but with still a smile.

"Are you all going to be here only? Let's go to the stadium." Said Yu and everyone started walking towards stadium.

Mister Ken and Sara's team also joined Ishan's team and Miss Naya because they are going to show and represent the same school.

Miss Naya said, "You all can wander in this place, I am going to sign for the match." And she left.

Mister Ken also left for the same task and they all started wandering in the huge place.
