That was the day when Isabella had it all. She silently shed tears while lying in Amy's embracetly shed tears while lying in Amy's embrace. It wasn't like Amy wasn't aware of it. She was, but she wanted her to let it all out. Keeping things to herself or letting pressure bury itself in her bones will worsen her sister's state. Which she obviously never wanted.
The day started with the chirping of birds at the window pane. Isabella opened the window, smoothly closing her eyes as she took in the cool breeze hitting her pale face. Yes, the incident from last night, her first year, turned out to be the worst for her. But she just sighed, as she cared less about her surroundings. All she wanted was to leave her old self behind and embrace the new Isabella she thought the world deserved. The one that hated her for no reason A lone tear unknowingly fell from her right eye, at which she frowned. She swipes it hastily and glares at it for a while before entering the restroom for a quick shower.
The warm water hits her skin as she stands there, complementing her thoughts. The events of the previous year flashed before her brown orbs.Wayne's reckless comments, Zack's taunts, her mother's ignorant behaviour, starting at Hogwarts, Zabani's mean words, but most importantly, "Tom Marvalo Riddle" and his shite attitude towards herself She looks at her reflection and finds herself smiling while remembering her father, Amy, Rose, and Abraxas. She was relieved that in all this chaos she still had some close friends with her. The one that is always there for her. She wears a plain green sweater with a pair of black jeans, chuckling to herself while getting ready as she knows what is ahead.
Not caring to put on any extravagant belongings, she just casted a concealing spell on her face, hiding her pale and puffy eyes with a fair and pinkish skin. Letting her hair fall down her shoulders, she mutters, Perfect," underneath her breath, and rushes downstairs slowly.
Entering the hallway, she was greeted by her father, whose eyes instantly turned wide upon seeing her running figure. Isabella," he unconsciously mutters.
Father!" Isabella yells, merrily opening her arms as she gives in for a hug. Her father kneels down while opening his arms as his little angel crashes into his arms. "Isabella, ma cherie," he calls out, causing her to giggle widely at her nickname.
Yes, Father?" she questioned teasingly, still hugging her father, as she placed her chin on his chest to get a full view of his face.
He giggles again while patting her cheeks softly and says, "My angel is up?"
She hums in response, then giggles as he starts to tickle her. "Father... No!" she laughs as she tries to free herself from his grip.
Her father releases her as she breaks the hug; he kisses her forehead swiftly and eyes her up and down. Wow, my daughter is looking so cute," he exclaims while gasping at each word.
Isabella twirls a little, flexing her attire, and giggles afterwards, "Thanks your majesty," then with a dramatic bow she asks, "Shall we go for meal?"
"Shall we?" Her father plays along as he raises his hand up to hold her tiny ones, sitting on one knee.
Yes, we shall," Isabella giggles dramatically, causing her father to instantly sway her off the ground in his arms while marching towards the dining table. Rosalie was busy guiding maids to place the feast in their respective positions when her eyes caught sight of the giggling duo in front of her. Unknowingly, she fixes herself and straightens her posture. The duo didn't even bother to look at her as they sat opposite each other on their usual side of the table. Amy follows them and sits on the right side of her father. The trio doesn't seem to bother looking at her, as they were busy gossiping together. Isabella was busy spilling some tea about her school, and the other two were busy listening to her. Zack and Wayne came to the table while she was yawning and sat in front of her.
"Hey mom," they both greet slowly, their eyes full of sleep as they hadn't even cared to take a shower. Rosalie was busy eyeing the trio in front of her, ignorant of the fact her beloved sons are sitting in front of her. She slowly grabs a glass and gently taps on it with a spoon in order to gain the attention of the trio sitting in front of her. Theodore eyes her but doesn't tell Isabella to stop, knowing clearly that she is intentionally not ending her story. She clears her throat again, this time for the brunette to stop. Isabella pauses for a brief moment as she hears a fake "good" from her. And she silently did what she never did: roll her eyes at her mother's fake accent, causing her father and Amy to laugh out loud while gasping. She giggles at her own actions. But her mother's nose flares in irritation.
The trio starts eating, still whispering to each other. Zack and Wayne got irritated by the fact that they were not getting enough attention as they started whining, "What is it, mother?" Zack interrogates them while glancing at them. Wayne also yawns and asks, Yeah, can't they just keep their voices down?"
"Can't you just shut your mouth?" Theodore glares as the duo glares at Isabella in frustration. Both gasped silently, looking at their mother with a frown, wanting her to do something. She hesitates for a while but nods otherwise as she glances at her elder daughter, who is giggling continuously, much to her surprise after what she did last night. That's when her eyes caught sight of Isabella's entire attire.
"Where are your family's belongings?" she exclaims in a loud, dramatic voice. Isabella chuckles while digging in her trench. This was what we knew would happen. "I am talking to you, Isabella," her mother says sternly. Isabella continues to ignore her words as she gulps down fresh milk. Also, what have you worn?" Where are your dresses, and what's with your hair? Don't you know how to be tidy and appealing? Just look at yourself... you are really sure you came for breakfast?"
Zack and Wayne smirk while eyeing Isabella, giving each other silent thumbs up. But the smirk was quickly replaced after Isabella's next actions. The brunette calmly placed her spoon down on the table and rested her chin on the hand that was placed on the table. Sighing slowly, she flips her hair a bit, leaving it messier around her shoulders. She was staring at her mother, who was continuously lecturing her. Her last words about her neatness made her chuckle loudly in a taunting way. Her mother stutters for the second time in the morning as the brunette is not getting her skin. She now taunts her for being here for breakfast, hoping she will cry again and run to her. She caused her sons to eat in silence without any chaos or taunts. But Isabella smirks while staring at her. The brunette made intense eye contact with her for a straight minute. She gulps as the brunette's gaze shifts from her to the pair of boys sitting in their night robes at the table for breakfast. She complemented what she meant and shifted her gaze awkwardly. Zack and Wayne also got alerted and embarrassed by her shift of eyes.
Rosalie glances towards her son in defeat. But she still felt a pair of eyes staring down at her. She ignored it and was about to take a bite from her poddrige when Isabella's soft yet stern voice rang in her ears. "I hope you clearly know the meaning of tidiness at least."
Rosalie instantly shot her head up to say something, but Isabella was busy eating her feast, ignoring the shocked expressions of the trio. And this time Isabella wasn't the one to cry and run towards her room. It was Wayne who dashed towards his room, crying dramatically, with Zack following him behind. Rosalie was still staring at Isabella, who was busy eating her meal with a deep smirk on her lips.
Mom!" Zack yells from corridors, taking her out of her trance as she rushes towards her sons before taking a final look at the brunette.
"Someone is learning," Amy praises Isabella while smiling.
"Got it from the best," Isabella giggles as the trio eats breakfast while smiling. After the feast, Isabella marches towards her room. Opening the door, she is met by an owl sitting on her window pane. Opening the window, she pats the creature and notices what it has with it.
A letter...
