Jack pov-

"Did she just get jealous or something?" thinking to himself, he chuckled & laid down. 

He never thought of giving his mom's clothes to someone else but he himself didn't know why he gave it to her.? Smiling a little at the ceiling, when the incident flashed his mind. Just for a second, he thought. 'I list her but why's this bothering me so much? It's not like I love her, maybe just because of an attachment I'm feeling like this.' 

He was lost in his thoughts when Eve walked in the room.

She look's so beautiful in mom's pajama. I still remember my mom wearing this for the first time when dad gave this to her. She was looking beautiful and shy just like Eve looking right now.. He took his eyes off her and turned away his gaze. 

"Aren't you going to tell me how am i looking..?" "It's just a pajama Eve, not your expensive clothes to show off, so sleep." 

Evelyn pov-

For the first time in my life, I found something nice like this. It may not be expensive but it's his mother's & it has a motherly smell. I never felt mom's love but today I feel so tender. It's like mom's love is hugging me.

She slowly closed her eyes & drifted into sleep.

Evelyn's pov-

I feel so hot today. The fan isn't even moving fast. I'll die for sure. When suddenly i remember what Jack told.

 Opening the windows, a soft breeze touched her cheeks. She felt relieved. Sitting down on couch, feeling exhausted due to today's temperature, when she heard a knock. It's only 4pm, who's it..? She walked to the door, opening it, there was Jack, sweating badly. 

"You're sweating so much! Sit there.. I'm coming.." she was about to go into the kitchen for a glass of water for him, when he stopped her. "I brought something for us, come & eat before it melts.." "Melt.!? What did you bring..?" He handed her an ice-cream "You bought me an ice-cream..!!! Oh, thank you.. Now i feel like swimming in this ice-cream" she started eating it excitedly when Jack smiled at her.
