The Consequences of Searching the Villa

Ding Guangwei slumped on the floor, crouched in a position as if he was a dog eating shit. He had a bad fall when he fell from the bed, so he kept howling in pain.
When he thought of his reign as the chief of the police station, he had never received such treatment. Everyone was trying to suck up to him.
Now, however, the people at the door did not even come over to help him. He struggled to press on the bell at the head of the bed, but none of the nurses came over to him.
Ding Guangwei did not understand. He was still fine last night, but now, everything had changed.
He could not take this lying down. He continued to scream, "I am the chief! All of you must listen to me! Listen to me…"
Those people at the door just looked at him. One of them said in disdain, "You're already in this state, and you're still shouting for people to listen to you? You really have no sense of shame."
