"You can't do more than a dead fly!" His grip was tight, pressing me down to the bed.

I struggled to get up, but he was more masculine than I was. "Get off me you bastard!" Through gritted teeth, I was growling like a wild dog. Still, he would not move. His cold eyes pierced into mine, and I felt chills travel down my spines.

No! I won't let him have his way. My head was spinning as I looked around, trying to find a weapon... For self defense that is.

To my left, there was nothing but some fruits, and to my right, just a pillow and some rumpled clothes. I needed to get away... And fast.

"Wait! Wait, you bloody moron!" I yelled and his struggling halted. My heart was pounding now. "The door, I think I hear someone coming." He turned back, and I felt some sort of relief, but not too long, his lingering devouring eyes were back to me again. His concentration was on my breast now that had slightly popped out from his rough handling of me. He licked his big lips in a disgusting manner.

"You think that's enough to distract me? I locked the door you moron..."

But that was enough time for my hands to reach the soured fruit to my left. With my remaining strength left, I squeezed the halfly cut lemon juice to his eyes.

"Arrgh! What the fuck!" He brought his hands to caress his ugly face. Pimples had covered his entire face. "You bitch!"

That was my cue. I adjusted the long gown on me, lifting the tips up so I could run faster. He was groaning in pain, but his hands still moved around. I brought my knees down to his groins, and heard him whimper as he crept low to the ground.

Then as fast as I could, I picked up the rumpled bed sheets and wrapped them around his face, ignoring his struggling and groaning.

That'll keep him far away for a while...

Sauntering towards the door, I reached for the lock. "Dammit! Where is the key?" I didn't know where to start my search. My head was aching, and I felt my heart would explode from its heavy pounding.

Where could the key be?? Where!

I didn't know what to do. He was getting himself together now, I could hear him cursing furiously as he tried unfolding the cloth from his face.

"Shit!" I didn't know what to do again.

My whole body was shaking vigorously, wondering if that was the night I would die... Or kill someone.

My mind began to think of ways to make the latter option possible, but I instantly shrugged off the thoughts. "Think, Rhia. Think!"

"You bitch, when I get you, you're gonna regret it!" He yelled, but I tried to ignore his voice.

I swallowed hard, wiping the bid of sweat that trickled down my forehead. I was out of options.

There was no telling what this fool on the ground would do, especially considering the fact that he was drunk as fuck.

Any minute now, and then I would become his dead meat. I did the last thing I would ever do, the fact being that I was in a dire situation. I prayed. "Dear Satan, please accept this peace of offering I bring to you. Dear Jesus, forgive me!" I roared out, but my eyes twitched at the tall shadowy figure that covered me from behind.

One quick glance was all I could see from the shadow behind me before it swallowed me whole.

Headaches are by far the worst thing that could happen to a human. I felt like my skull had cracked somewhere, and it wasn't anywhere near a pleasant feeling.

I was still feeling tired but the reeking odor of strong gin filled my nostrils. I felt my mouth stretched into a yawn. Slowly, my eyelids opened and I could now make sense of my environment.

Some people were conversing, heavily engrossed in their discussion that they hadn't even noticed me around. I yawned again, but this time, muffled any noise that escaped my mouth.

There were three of them seated on a bench, their backs facing me. The room was a well contained area, dark but by the side was a burning torch like those ones I saw in medieval movies.

"Hold on," my brain recalculated.

Like those ones I saw in medieval movies...

Those men were on armor, and by their side were weapons but not modern day weapons like AK47 guns or rifles, but actual blades instead.

I brought my fingers to rub my eyes gently, so I could wake up from my slumber, but I wasn't dreaming. I was probably hallucinating...

"They will never know what hit them." Said a voice dark and cold. I didn't know which one of them was talking.

Another one spoke, but it was more gentle than the first voice. "But Cottar, we must be careful now. This war we are starting might be an act of foolishness!"

"Foolishness?" Another voice spoke, but it sounded feminine. "You will not speak to Lord Warin like that!"

"This is madness, and I want to clarify that to you all! The FrostLanders are gruesome mad people, and involving them into this will only stir more trouble." The gentle voice spoke, although his voice was now more strained, tense with worry. "You don't think I know about your useless plan? Finding the book of--" his words were cut short by a slit in the throat.

It was so fast I nearly couldn't believe my eyes. The woman had brought out a dagger, and slit his throat in just the blink of an eye! I hadn't meant to, but a choked sob escaped from my mouth.

"How many more people know about our plan?" He asked... The terrifying Lord Warin.

The woman grunted something, but I couldn't hear. The pain in my head was much worse than I could comprehend. My eyes fell shut again, and I followed the darkness.
