Few hours later Vernox left the castle to check out the academy and training grounds.

"Greetings, my Lord" a guard bowed down as he saw Vernox leaving the castle.

"Come, lead me to the demon academy" he said as he looked straight at the bustling street ahead.

The demon knight looked at Vernox with surprise. What did he need an escort for?, it's not letting me as if there is anyone more powerful than him.

The guard didn't complain as he walked towards Vernox. He stopped and bowed halfway.

"It'll be my honour" he said as he started walking out of the gates, leading Vernox to the academy.

"Good day your highness" a demon greeted as he passed. He was greeted by all the people they passed by as they made their way to the academy. Or so he thought.

They reached a place in the kingdom where carriages were being boarded and Vernox was quite confused.

"What are we doing here?" he asked as he turned to the guard for an explanation.

Seeing the demon Lord's stern gaze the guard was a little scared.

"We are going to board a carriage to go the academy my Lord" the guard said respectfully. He wasn't sure why the demon Lord asked but it was impossible to actually walk to the academy as it is way at the edge of the kingdom.

Vernox decided to be patient as he waited for the guard who went into the large building that the carriages were parked in front of.

The demons that were passing all bowed at him and he just waved at them in response so it will not look like he's not a social person.

Who would want a schemey or secretive person to lead them?. The leader might as well be planning their doom.

Some time later the guard rushed over to the demon Lord's side. Vernox noticed another man behind the guard that came out too.

"My Lord, The Young driver will take you there". Vernox furrowed his brows as he looked behind the guard.

He glanced at the short fat demon that had long ears. From the looks Vernox guessed the demon to be a goblin as it had green skin and a long pointed nose. The goblin also had a smooth scalp with not even a single strand of hair on it.

...

"I'm going to follow your highness?" the guard asked, he also wanted to visit the demon academy again.

He hasn't visited since he got promoted to be a guard at the demon Lord's castle and he would take the chance now.

"Sure!" Vernox answered and began walking to the carriage.

'The Lord is so humble. I'm sure he could kill me with just his fingers' the guard thought as he scurried to the demon Lord's side while holding his spear.

...

"My Lord!" the goblin bowed as it greeted him and bowed. Everyone in the demon kingdom already knows Vernox and had confidence in him to rule the demon kingdom.

"Where shall I take you today?" the goblin asked as Vernox entered the carriage.

"The demon academy at the edge of the kingdom!" the guard said as he sat on the open seat in front of the carriage with the driver.

Vernox observed the carriage from within and was bewildered by the design. There as a long soft seat opposite each other inside the carriage. There was a window beside him, it had a rectangular frame that was made of a strange black material with green runes all over it.

As he looked carefully he saw green lines that looked like a magic formation in the open window space like a glass that had holes.

"Huh!"

'It's exactly like the info in the game' he thought as he recognised the formation. It as a special magic formation that can block any material matter that wants to pass through it.

Glancing through the window that lead to the driver's seat in front of the carriage, he observed the driver as he worked the carriage that didn't have horses to pull it.

The driver had a weird long and thin crystal in his hand that looked like a perfect fit with the hole in the middle of what looked like the steering wheel. The driver slotted the crystal into the hole and the lines on the wheel that were connected together glowed a green light as it spread all over the wheel.

'It's similar to a car from earth but it's powered by magic'. He was sure that he could build a vehicle from this world's resources.

Glancing out of the carriage he saw a few destroyed buildings and some homeless demons sitting on the streets.

Vernox brows furrowed. 'So there is also the weak and the strong in this world. I'll have to do something about it too' he noted down

....

It took over an hour of riding and they finally got to the...uh...the place.

Vernox got down from the carriage and looked at the so called academy.

"Huh?" he got confused as he couldn't see anything as he only stared at the empty grounds and a huge volcano that was active. He could tell that it was active as visible smoke emanated from the top of the volcano.

"Thank you for the patronage my lord!" the goblin bowed once more as he boarded his carriage and rode away.

'Azure is so big, there should be empty fields that I will be able to use for other things' he thought inwardly.

"This way, my Lord!" the guard said as he began walking towards the volcano. Following the guard's lead Vernox followed the guard behind.

{Hey John!, What's happening?} a robotic voice sounded in his head.

'Sigh... it's nice if you to show up. There's a lot of things I want to ask you but I'll do it later' he said to her.

{I know that it's about the lack of detail in the system.

Vernox listened carefully to Ariel as he followed behind the guard. It wasn't impossible to level up the system but...there are some requirements that are tasking to him.

'Sigh...here you are advising me to level up the system, haven't you seen the requirements?' he asked.

{Hehe...I know. And it's going to be fun watching you}. Ariel laughed as Vernox gritted his teeth due to her annoying words.

Soon, they reached the foot of the volcano. From looking at it now the volcano had a cone shape.

The guard suddenly turned around and gestured to Vernox.

Vernox was shocked but he also felt relief as he heard Ariel's voice. He smiled as he doesn't have to lose face in front of the guard.
