She managed to eat something in the late afternoon and forced herself out of her room into the library. Luckily she didn't run into anyone.

It was a really huge room with high ceiling and cabinets filled with books of all types. She was wondering how she could reach the top ones when she discovered a ladder at one corner.

Pulling it against a particular shelf she started going through some books. She found some scrolls at the top of the shelf and tried to reach them.

She wasn't finding it easy but she wouldn't give up either. She was drawn to those papers and she was definitely going to take a look.

After a while she was able to pull them free. It was an ancient scroll. She couldn't make out the inscriptions on them. She had to squint her eyes and focus.

They were some ancient history of the people of Maledoth.
