Ch 13 - Fang Yuan vs Fang Zheng Part II

Fang Zheng was a rank five peak stage Gu Master, at the peak of the mortal world. But he was an enslavement path Gu Master, most of his battle strength relied on crane groups.

Fang Yuan attacked him in public under everyone's sight without caring for the consequences because he knew Fang Zheng won't be able to counter his move.

He not only used several mortal killer moves, among them was a wisdom path killer move from Dong Fang Chang Fan.

While others from the Immortal Crane Sect was staring blankly, Fang Yuan struck, immediately immobilizing Fang Zheng while at a distance. Once the attack struck, Fang Yuan was sure of his victory. He was about to move to capture Fang Zheng when..

"What's the meaning of this? Attacking me in public. Here, taste my enslavement path killer Hundred crane attack."

All the flying cranes suddenly dived towards Fang Yuan in a very peculiar manner. The attack seemed very ferocious while leaving no place to dodge.

"Fang Zheng, you are too disappointing. At this stage, you are still moving around outside and wasting precious resources on the bet instead of using them to cultivate, why are you not settling down and cultivating! With such Rank 5 peak stage strength, you still want to attract attention outside and gain meaningless reputation, what is the point? Haru snorted but didn't say anything. Earlier, Fang Yuan had used wills to control his mind. However, he was already prepared. During the refinement competition, he was continuously using Anger will gu to create as many wills as he can. When Fang Yuan's will approached his mind and was about to control him, hundreds of thousands of anger will jumped on it. Although, they were much weaker individually, when they continuously attacked, they were finally able to defeat and absorb the will of Fang Yuan. As soon as it was defeated, countless memories with regards to attacks and defense using wills entered Haru's mind.

Since Fang Yuan was not expecting his will to be countered, he didn't retrain any memory as such and allowed it to have many of the core memories regarding wills which he had learnt from Mo Yao's will in the past few days.

However, a single will was about to take on 300 of Haru's anger will in a single match. If it stayed like this, Haru won't be able to fight against Fang yuan's will and he will be captured by Fang Yuan against his will. His only option was to restrain Fang Yuan as far as possible.

"What are you all looking at? This person is chosen the demonic path and dared to attack an elder of Immortal Crane Sect. If anyone could attack us elders, what will become of the reputation of our sect? Also, once we defeat him, he will have to give away his Hu Immortal Blessed Land as a compensation for attacking me. As soon as they heard him, their eyes passed a greedy look at Fang Yuan's body. No one was satisfied by him hogging all the benefits alone from the Hu Immortal Blessed Land. Even other people who were just watching from the sideways also joined Fang Zheng's side. They had their reasons be it those wanting favor from Fang Zheng, those being jealous of Fang Yuan's gains, those who had recieved help from Fang Zheng or those who just wanted to get benefits out of the situation.

The battle turned one-sided in just a few seconds as multiple attacks came towards Fang Yuan.

Fang Yuan was already fighting back the flying crane while using wisdom path killer move to attack Fang Zheng using wills. He didn't believe that Fang Zheng would be able to last for a long time. It was true. Many of his anger wills had been depleted. Only 30% of the original number was left.

However, his gains were huge and his attainment in countering wills was increasing at an incredible rate. Lower and lower amount of anger wills were used up to counter Fang Yuan.

He was now facing multiple attacks from elders of Immortal Crane Sect as well as gu masters of different sects. He was losing grounds faster and faster and also couldn't dodge some of the attacks. Currently, he was not able to use Immortal Gu. Otherwise, his northern plains aura would be revealed which would cause him huge problems in the future as the Central Continent's Gu Immortal were still searching for the culprit behind toppling Eighty Eight Yin Yang Building.

Ruthless gaze passed Fang Yuan's eyes.

'To think that one day, as an immortal, I would face oppression fro mortals, that too from my naive little brother. Haha, this is truly exciting. Come. Show me what you are capable of.', Fang Yuan thought as suddenly countless phantoms. appeared in his surroundings.

These strength path phantoms were already very powerful. They had the strength of Rank 5 gu master and multiple of them could even take on Gu Immortals. He had used hundreds of thousands of these phantoms to even force back Rank 7 Gu Immortal Hei Cheng.

Whenever Fang Yuan went outside, he would always create some phantoms using Myriad Self in case he faced any situation. Currently, he only revealed a very small part of his army.

There were now hundreds of strength path phantom in front of Fang Yuan. They were too powerful and easily broke through the situation.

The flying cranes were suffering heavy loss.

'He finally used Myriad self. This means he is in a tough situation too. I need to hold on for a while.', Haru noted as he prepared another killer move.

"Blazing Fire Crane Attack"

The flying cranes were suddenly envelopes in fire and started burning through Fang Yuan's army. Many of the strength path phantoms were burned to the ground while many others succumbed under attack from multiple gu masters. However, casualty was increasing on the end of the gu masters. Afterall, it was Gu Immortal vs mortals.

Gu Immortals can easily wipe out whole cities with just a single move. They have immortal essense beads and dao marks in their bodies which make them really powerful. While mortals have limited primeval essense and would not be able to fight back once the primeval essense is consumed.

Even Haru fought with the phantom one on one and found it tough to defeat them with his strength. They were ruthless killing machines. He was also facing wisdom path attack from Fang Yuan from time to time making his situation worse. His anger wills had almost depleted by now and he was continuously trying to make new ones

His whole body was covered in wounds and he was only able to get through with the help of Iron Blood gu which turned pain into pleasure and Self Control gu which restrained his emotions. This was a life and death situation where he had to give it all for a chance to survive.

Even Gu immortals had started observing the fight now. However, no one interfered since this was happening outside the testing area.

Even Fang Yuan was in a hurry right now. He had only a few dozens phantoms left outside. He had more in his aperture but bringing out more of them would only cause him trouble since that was not a strength a mortal rank 5 peak stage could display. If Gu immortals joined in the fight, he would need to have reserve strength.

He also had to reserve his strength for any unexpected factors. Also, he actually didn't want to use this move since it could be easily linked back to him. He was trying to trap Fang Zheng in a circle and continuously using wisdom path killer move to try and control his mind.

It was not really odd that Haru was able to fight back Fang Yuan's will even though there was a lot of difference between them. Even Dong Fang Yu Liang, a mortal, was able to cause serious injury to Dong Fang Chang Fan, a wisdom path gu immortal. Currently, the fight was happening within Haru's mind. Haru's anger will received the natural renegeration from his body while Fang Yuan's will had no such support.
