Grace met Henry's gaze, feeling a bit guilty but still defiant as she said, "Come on, Henry. Summer doesn't consider you her brother anymore, so why do you keep protecting her? If she really thought of you as her brother, she wouldn't be all over Logan, who you can't stand. She's constantly trailing after him like a brainless fool, giving him beef stew, making him spaghetti, and cooking for him. Where am I wrong in saying she's throwing herself at him? Does she really think doing all this will win Logan over? She should look in the mirror. Logan would never be interested in her."
As Grace spoke, she grew more confident, her voice rising in defiance.
She was tired of Henry always defending Summer. In her eyes, Summer was foolish, and she should be allowed to say so.
Finishing her rant, Grace straightened her back, waiting for Henry's reaction.
Before Henry could respond, a voice from outside the dorm room said, "You seem to know me well. Why don't you tell me who I would be interested in? You?"
Everyone turned to see Logan standing at the door.
Grace instinctively felt a bit scared, but remembering she hadn't actually bad-mouthed Logan, she steadied herself and retorted with a sarcastic tone, "I wouldn't dream of such fortune."
Logan shot back immediately, "You're right; you couldn't handle it."
Then he slightly turned his head and called out, "Summer, come here."
Summer was in the girls' dorm, packing her bag.
Hearing Logan, she quickly put on her backpack and came over.
Seeing everyone gathered, she hesitated for a moment and asked, "What's going on?"
Logan didn't answer.
He walked over to grab his travel bag, placed it on the old wooden table, and unzipped it. He called Summer over again, "Stand here."
Sensing the tension in the room, Summer walked over to Logan, her face serious. Not knowing what he was up to, she asked softly, "What's happening?"
Logan didn't respond. Instead, he took something out of his travel bag and casually put it in her mouth, like feeding a child.
Summer tasted it and realized it was a peanut nougat candy.
As soon as she recognized the candy, she felt the intense gazes of the other ten people in the room. Realizing that Logan had unwrapped the candy and fed it to her in front of everyone, she couldn't help but blush.
Logan remained nonchalant and said, "Open your backpack."
Summer, snapping out of her daze, quickly ate the candy and opened her backpack.
Under the watchful eyes of everyone, Logan started pulling out various treats from his travel bag: crispy rice cakes, milk biscuits, shrimp crisps, chocolate—each item going into Summer's backpack.
With each treat Logan placed in her bag, the room fell more silent, the tension palpable. It felt like he was slapping everyone else in the face.
Summer was bewildered.
The other ten were stunned and humiliated.
Logan zipped up his travel bag and said, "Eat as much as you want. Don't save it. When you run out, come to me for more."
Summer, closing her backpack, responded, "Okay."
Then she asked, "Won't I get cavities if I eat so much every day?"
Everyone else was flabbergasted—every day?
Logan, putting away his travel bag, said, "Just brush your teeth regularly."
Summer, smiling, followed Logan out of the dormitory, saying, "Then I won't hold back."
After they left, the dorm room fell into a prolonged silence, the air thick with shock, everyone frozen in place, blinking in disbelief.
